Get swept away by the beauty of the lake and surrounding hills at Blue Skies. Located on the east side of Honeoye Lake, this spacious luxury home offers both size and amenities. Your Finger Lakes vacation is sure to be nothing short of memorable!
Happily find that the first floor of Blue Skies is wheelchair accessible! Inside, the foyer greats you. To the right, an airy hallway leads the way past the powder room, first floor office and laundry rooms. The great room features a custom-built gas fireplace with comfortable furniture and beautiful views of the lake. A round dining table with seating for eight sits between the kitchen and living area.
The kitchen boasts cupboards that reach the high ceilings. An oversized island bar doubles for convenience in meal prep and additional dining space.
The entry level offers a master bedroom with king bed and en suite bathroom with walk-in tile shower and his and hers sinks.
Completing the entry level, a seasonal room with daybed and extravagant lake view is perfect for an afternoon nap in the summer time.
Upstairs, a hallway landing work space offers lake view in the distance. This work area is sure to bring peace to any zoom meeting you need to have while away from the office. The second bedroom offers a queen bed while the third offers built in bunk beds with queen mattresses. Adult bunk beds are sure to make the kid inside you happy!
Outside, the lakeside deck has a covered area to escape the sun, or uncovered space to let those rays shine down on you. Spend your days at the waterfront where you'll find 80 feet of lake frontage! Bring a fishing pole from home and when the seasonal dock is out, see who catches the biggest fish of the day. In the evening, enjoy a relaxing dip in the lakeside hot tub.
Plenty of Finger Lakes fun can be had with just moments away. Blue Skies is located within 10 miles of Naples, Twisted Rail Brewing and Cummings Nature Center. During the winter months, skiing can be enjoyed at nearby Bristol Mountain or even at Hunt Hollow just down the road. With Canandaigua an easy 20-minute drive to the east, many area attractions are right at your fingertips!

Summary: House was gorgeous! Perfect for my father in law who uses a walker-very accessible! Wide doorways & halls, ramp off back porch to yard, first floor bedroom bed was power adjustable, etc! Only complaint was the tv! Internet is spotty & streaming continually cut in & out

Summary: The property is nice but the lake was overgrown with weeds so there was very little area to enter the lake via kayak or swim. It also had an odor. The hot tub was displaying an error message when we arrived and was serviced the next day. There aren't many places to do a full grocery shopping and most amenities were an hour drive away. We had to ask the lovely neighbors lots of questions about the local area. We could not swim at the nearby public beaches due to blue algae Many of the dishes were still dirty from previous guests, including the coffee pot. The WiFi password was incorrect and we needed to seek out the rental company to retrieve the correct one. The room designated for younger children did not have any window coverings which made it difficult to put our little ones to sleep. Overall, the place is well kept and it is spacious. It's on a quiet corner of the lake and we enjoyed the fire pit and patio. I provided three stars as it was a reasonable trip but unlikely we'd stay again.

Summary: Our family stayed at the home for a long weekend. There are a few suggestions to make the stay even better for future renters: - dog hair on the couch and area rugs - I am not a pet owner (allergies), so I am overly sensitive to it. - detail in the listing - I had some questions, and while the person I spoke with had a very kind and helpful demeanor, they did not have any first hand experience aside from what was in the listing. There are a few things that it would have been helpful to know if I were to consider this space: Grill - the listing states it's a 'BBQ grill', but doesn't specify which type (charcoal, open fire, propane). It is propane. Coffee maker - it is a drip coffee/Espresso combo machine that takes cone shape filters. No Keurig. Dock - while the listing agent told us we'd have use of the boat lift, we did not, there was a boat in it already when we arrived. A/C - we stayed during a very hot week, and the A/C was programmed considerably cooler than what was comfortable for some. We were able to manually adjust it, but it kept "fixing" itself when it hit certain times of day. Ability to override would have been nice. Arrival - it was tricky to figure out how to get the door code for arrival. You have to create an account for Finger Lakes Premier Properties, and the code is on the listing page. There isn't anything that I saw directly sent vs. having to go look for it. Despite the above, the home is beautiful and spacious, and we very much enjoyed our stay.
