Negative: Unless you’re training for a mountain marathon, the walk from Doolin to the cottage is best done by car!

Negative: Nothing I’d complain about for short stays but breaks longer than a few days would be challenging as there’s no washing machine at the property.

Positive: The cottage has been beautifully restored, was spotlessly clean and well equipped in a peaceful location.
Negative: We would have liked a second bedside lamp for reading. Other than that everything was perfect. The only other issue we had was that we did not receive a message with the code for the key box from booking.com but thankfully booking.com had emailed a contact number for the property and we were able to ring and get the code from the contact person.

Positive: This place is beautiful. Perfect for one person or a couple. The road to get up to it is one way, so it’s important to watch out for oncoming traffic. Once you are at the cottage, though, it’s paradise. Some of the most spectacular views and a beautiful history.
