Positive: This is one of the most luxurious properties that I have ever stayed in. We had booked tickets to Spinalonga and Knossos so were disappointed not to have more time to spend at the amazing villa. While the inside was very comfortable and well equipped, it was the outside that was so impressive. It's on a huge plot of land with amazing views. The pool was incredible and very warm as the shallower bit warmed the water and there were several lovely places to sit in the evening. The host was really helpful and let us check in early. The local town and beaches were nice. My daughter enjoyed feeding the fish. The host provided lots of things such as water and prosecco. It would have been good to have longer there. We booked three different villas on the island and this was by far the best.

Negative: It was accessed by a dirt track with sharp bends and sheer drops. I found this scary but my husband didn't mind it. The host met us and showed us the way as I didn't believe the sat nav when it suggested the dirt track. One bedroom didn't have a window, just glass blocks to allow light in from the other room. There were very few other properties nearby which meant that it was quiet but also the area felt unfinished.
