Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. 3 bedroom duplex with hosts on site. Animal friendly as we have 2 friendly indoor/ outdoor cats who roam all day. Beautiful hill in back and amazing sunsets in the front.
One room contains a kids nautical themed room with bunk beds, one master bedroom with tv and one guest room with futon. Spacious living room with 2 sectionals and tv. Kitchen stocked with all the uses of home.

Summary: The property as described, was very clean and well stocked. Quite a dated interior but we found it quaint. The host was very helpful. Would book again for stopovers.

Summary: This was a lovely spot to stay, equipped with everything we needed. Our family had enough room and it was only a short drive to the Sydney waterfront. Perfect place to stay if you're touring Cape Breton!

Summary: The location is really convenient, a short drive from Downtown Sydney, and in a quiet residential area. The communication with the owner was really pleasant and this is probably the reason why I had higher expectations of the place. We also chose this place because of the number of rooms (3) since we were 6 adults. The house has a lot of potential (very welcoming entrance) but we were disappointed with a few things listed below: - the house was really hot despite the fans. - the towels were really old (it almost looked like they were not clean because when you dried your body with it, little parts of the towel were staying on your skin and it felt like hair on your skin - very unpleasant). But you could smell the cleanliness so we knew it has been washed but the whole set needs to be replaced. - the kitchen was missing a lot of items (salad spinner, not enough cutlery, bowls, pans, etc.) - there was no laundry room which was disappointed. But it is not advertised so I cannot refer it as a complaint. - there was a mouse in the kitchen coming out late at night or early morning. All in all, we had a great time in Sydney, really enjoyed the living room, but felt disappointed with the house in general. I hope that the towels' set will be changed in the future and the kitchen will be completed with more items to enhance the visitors' experience.

Summary: Spotless, cozy, all the amenities. Perfect for families traveling with children. Only drawback was lack of internet service. Tried contacting owner for password but didn’t receive it until we were leaving the next morning. Our son was trying to finish a paper he was working on for a group project. I’m sure this was an over site as owner apologized stating she thought it was in the listing. Overall I’d recommend it to others.

Summary: This was the fist time we have stayed in an AirBnB. We enjoyed the privacy and the space. We would definitely recommend. Only improvement they must do is add an air conditioner, the home was very hot with the summer weather.
