Designed to attract international, interstate or country guests including those travelling with children. This Victorian period house is perfectly positioned to explore the very best of inner city Melbourne. It is renovated to elegant contemporary simplicity. Stylish design couples with quality appointments throughout to provide a residence of surprising proportions comprising; wide entry hall, gorgeous master bedroom with queen bed and en-suite bathroom; second bathroom and bedroom with two singles converting to one king size bed. There is a third single ottoman bed and a cot/first bed on request. This room opens to a striking fully equipped kitchen and open plan dining-living room with bi-fold doors to a sunlit terrace and garden. A retractable awning over the terrace makes it ideal for outdoor meals. The garden adjoins the owners’ at the rear but is cleverly closed off for privacy with wrought iron and mirrored gates. It is an ideal house/garden to relax in after a day visiting the Arts precinct; the tennis; the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre; the Botanic Gardens; or the popular beaches of St Kilda, Elwood and Port Melbourne. Public transport is excellent and there is easy tram/bus/train access to central Melbourne for shopping and other tourist attractions; or to Melbourne University in Carlton or as far as Latrobe and Monash Universities. Sorry, party-lovers, it is not at all suited to having parties because of the close proximity of neighbours and has a strict no-party policy to prevent disturbance to them.
Windsor, Prahran and South Yarra are among the original inner city areas – situated between the Yarra River (the city of Melbourne) and the sea at St Kilda. Windsor with houses built in the 1880s, is popular with young families. It has an eclectic vibe with many street cafes, boutiques, the Prahran Market with fresh food. Close to the beach at St Kilda and close to all sports venues and a short tram ride to the Arts precinct and Melbourne CBC. A perfect position.

Summary: We had a lovely stay. The house was neat and in a great location, close to shops and the tram, very easy to get around. A beautiful home, very family friendly with two kids.

Summary: A perfect place to experience Melbourne. The house is a home instantly. We were very comfortable in spacious well equipped bedrooms and large bathrooms. The modern living and kitchen was bright and inviting looking onto a small well kept garden. We were supplied with welcoming staples and quality bathroom essentials. The location close to Chapel st and access to public transport into the city and beyond makes this property a great find. The owner was extremely friendly, helpful and contactable. We will definitely return.

Summary: This house was very comfortable, with some extra touches. The kitchen was left supplies to start us off with, including bread, milk, meusli amongst other things. The toiletries and linen were of high quality. Prue was also very helpful with some suggestions for home delivery dinner. Another surprise and nice touch was the beautiful back garden which included a lemon tree and herbs. All in all, we were very happy with this house.

Summary: Just stayed for 5 days over Xmas while visiting family. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is ideally located for Chapel St etc . Very well equipped and clean and just as advertised. Would definitely recommend :-)

Summary: The space was very open, with high Victorian style ceilings. The ideal of Melbourne living. The amenities and kitchen were modern renovated. The space was very clean and all appliances were in peak condition and were of good quality. The accommodation was fully furnished and neat. Everything one could need was generously supplied, from cooking ware and implements, to a wheeled shopping trolley and extra warm blankets! The space was very comfortable for 4 inhabitants. The back garden was small and quaint, providing a lovely little nook for relaxation in the mornings and afternoons. The location was ideal, only 5 minutes walk from trams. It's also a short walk to shops and a local park is just down the road. Prue was lovely and accommodating, anxious to ensure all was provided for the utmost comfort during our stay. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Prue!
