Summary: The Blu Fin Resort was a wonderful experience except we had a situation with the tvs and hvac units but the staff was on it and everything was back on point. The man that fixed the unit was a very cordial fella as was the one that sent him, he called back several times to make sure we were ok!!! The fan in the main bedroom didn’t have a chain on it so we couldn’t change the setting and the fan was on the highest setting!! The knob for the shower was really hard to turn on. The storm door kept getting stuck and the toilet seat was a little tricky!! The cottage was very modern and up to date and the bed was very comfortable. We really liked the kitchen and the porch was lovely!! And lastly we would really consider coming back again!!

Summary: Absolutely not for us, but were large people or if you're disabled this could be a problem! 1) climbing up onto the unit from the dock was horrible (we had up to a 2 foot step up and had to crawl up into the unit). 2) the bedroom barely has room on the sides to get into the bed. 3) stove was conduction but the pans weren't. 4) hot water when showering didn't remain hot (worst than our camper). The concept was great but obviously it's not for us.

Summary: Clean and spacious but uncomfortable beds and pillow. Could of been time of year but there was no staff at property. We were given 1 towel each over a 5 night stay and asked for a refresh twice but nothing.

Summary: I stayed in one of the cottages on the water. Off-season so I was practically alone. Beautiful views of the sound, and I got to watch a space launch from Wallop's Island one night. It was amazing! Very clean property, very convenient. The peace and quiet from the front, screened in porch, was so relaxing.

Summary: This was a unique experience! Floating on the water was definitely a highlight. The staff was friendly. And it was very pet friendly. I would absolutely visit again. It’s a bit of a walk to some of the cottages but they have carts available to help with your luggage.

Summary: The staff were great. The House was very clean. This is the first time staying on a "houseboat". The weather was in the upper 30's and very windy on the first night. For this reason the pontoons were quite noisy because of the rough tide. That shouldn't have been a surprise but settling in for a deep sleep was tricky. The heat/air conditioning units were difficult to figure out. We lived with a very cold house for the first night because we checked in after the office closed. Management really needs to include directions for them with the house. I appreciated the dishes, utensils and cooking supplies in the kitchen with a full sized refrigerator, stovetop and microwave. They also supply dish soap, a new sponge and roll of paper towels for the kitchen. The shower is large with a rainfall shower head, a handheld shower head and the towels were very nice, very soft. The bed linens were nice with plenty of blankets and pillows. The bunk beds were not dressed, would have preferred having them made. The reason I gave a 4 star rating was due to the air-conditioning unit and we also had a very long walk on the piers to get to our house no matter which parking lot we used. Positive note: they have carts to help carry luggage to your house.

Summary: Only reason why i dont give 5 stars overall because the hotwater only stays hot for like 15 minutes so we didnt do back to back showers.
