Summary: The accomodation has an inviting decor, clean, and nicely landscaped. It also features a pool, hot tub, sauna, fire pit, and a well-stocked shared kitchen.My only issue with the place is with the road noise. The 2 units are just a few feet from the street. While it's not a busy street, there are cars or motorcycles going by every few minutes. For someone, like myself, who seeks out quiet spaces, it's definitely something to be aware of.

Summary: The property was perfect in size with amazing views. Staying in and lounging on the patio was our favorite part. At the same time, the location was perfect to grab a bite to eat (less than 10 min driving) and to attractions (30min-1 hour). We are already thinking of coming back :)

Summary: The VRBO was just as described. Beautiful view but the pool was too cold for us to swim. It was very windy and cold the first 2 days but warmed up nicely. The host, Andrew Heller and his wife were kind and very helpful. Loved the fruit trees and sugar canes on the property. You would need a car to access nearby destinations. The roads a windy and slow moving. CR is known for it's crazy drivers! The small nearby town of Sarchi is not much , but if you have time to travel, the waterfalls/ reserve in La Paz was beautiful and we liked Greecia too. The German gardens in Sarchi are worth the visit. We stayed 6 nights. I think 3 nights would have been perfect. From the airport in Liberia to Sarchi is a 4 to 5 hour trip. San Jose airport would have been closer but we choose to visit the beach at Playa Conchal. We loved the hikes and cool mountain weather. Next trip, we will try and stay closer to Mount Verde and Arenal Volcano. I do recommend the Hellers place.
