BMG (BeMyGuest) Apartment is a stylish, bright, quiet, freshly decorated apartment located in the heart of the city in the 5th district right next to the Central Bank of Hungary and the Liberty Square close to the must see attractions (between the Parliament and St. Stephen Basilika). It is an ideal location for visiting the city, the most important sights are at your doorstep. Pedestrianised streets are at the corner.
The Space
The apartment is situated on the 2nd floor, it features a comfortable, stylish, 62 m2 (+10 m2 gallery) spacious and quiet apartment with windows overlooking a beautiful communal garden with a unique ancient fountain. Comfortably suits 4 people but groups of up to 8 can be accommodated. High ceilings (4.5 m), huge windows, kitchen, bathroom.
The kitchen is well equipped with: dishwasher, oven, microwave oven, toaster, fridge, kettle (water heater), plates, glasses, wine glasses, dishes…
The bathroom has a large, comfortable bathtub. Hairdryer, and basic bathroom toiletries are provided.
Living room has a flat screen TV, Cable TV, DVD player, dining corner (a table with 4 chairs + 2 foldable chairs)

Guest Access
Check-in is after 2 PM, Check out is before 11 AM. We are trying to be flexible in terms of check in and check out time, but please let me know in time your arrival time!
You will receive code to the main entrance of the building which is locked 24/7 and also to the flat.
We provide everything you need for your vacation: free high speed WIFI, cable TV, fridge, coffee and tea for breakfast, dishwasher, fresh towels and bed linen, washing machine, hair dryer, soap, toilet paper.
Interaction with Guests
We will be waiting for you at the apartment on the day of your arrival, handing you the keys, showing you around and answering your questions.
We are available to give tips and recommendations on how to get around Budapest, good restaurants/pubs and to answer other enquiries about the city.
We are a text or email away, if required we can also pop around. You can contact us via: Viber, Skype, phone, e-mail.
The Neighbourhood
Located in the downtown, next to the Hungarian National Bank, this area boasts beautiful parks, pubs, bars and restaurants, and is within walking distance to the Parliament, famous St. Stephen's Basilica, Opera, the theatre area, and Váci Street and a shopping mall (Westend City Center).
The unique location of the apartment allows you to visit the city by walk, without need to take a taxi or public transportation.
Many famous restaurants, bars, night clubs, ruin pubs, bistros and rich variety of street food options are available.
And anything else you would possibly need: ATM, bank, tobacco shop, supermarket, pharmacy...
Getting Around
The apartment has a good public transportation connection, the closest metro station is “Arany Janos utca” (3 minutes), from where you can access the metro to the airport. There are many bus lines like bus 9, 15, 115 and trolleybus lines stopping next to the metro station. “Deák Ferenc tér” with M1/M2/M3 metro lines is around a 5-10 minutes’ walk.
NOTE: regarding the airport transfer I recommend to use only the official taxi provider "FŐTAXI" outside the terminal building.
Parking
Parking is free of charge on the streets at the weekends and between 8 PM to 8 AM.
At weekdays parking is available in an underground parking garage located close to the apartment (200 m) on an affordable price.
Daily ticket HUF 6000
The parking fee is HUF 250 / 30 min, but after 12 hours automatically changes to daily ticket which costs HUF 6000/day.
House Rules
Smoking is not allowed inside the flat, only outside on the corridor.
Please treat the apartment just as your own. This is a residential area we kindly ask you to keep the noise down as much as possible especially after 9 PM.

Summary: This is a lovely property. While the building is older, the apartment is in good condition - all appliances working well. The owner was very accessible with our questions before and during the check in process. He even gave us two excellent restaurant recommendations. Bonus points - there is a small but working elevator!

Summary: We had great time in Budapest. Peter's place was good as described. Old quiet building with nice inner garden. Close to public transportation. Underground about 5 minutes by foot. Close to the Parliament and ST. Istvan Cathedral.

Summary: We visited for the Christmas market, which was 2 blocks away. Spacious enough for 2 adults and 2 teens. Quiet and clean. Host was very responsive and accommodating. Highly recommend.

Summary: Peter wad a great host. The apartment was clean and well stocked with everything that you need. Close to many attractions, dozens of restaurants, a few grocery stores and some bus & metro stops. Definitely would stay here again if I'm ever back in Budapest.

Summary: We enjoyed everything about our stay. Peter and Brigitta, our hosts, were welcoming, helpful, and very organized. The apartment is lovely inside and is perfectly located, as well as being very quiet. The apartment also has lovely windows that have a view of sky as well as an inner courtyard.

Summary: From the personal welcome by Pétér and Brigitta, to the dozens of personal warm touches that embellished this graceful apartment, this was by far one of the most memorable home stays we have had the pleasure of being a part of. The apartment has the feel of being a home; having been personally lived in. The space is intelligently used, there is enough crockery and cutlery, and the owners were considerate enough to leave fresh bathroom supplies and cooking necessities including drinking water. The gadgets are all of excellent quality. The decor and the furniture is artistic and tasteful. All in all, we really looked forwards to coming back every evening. The only downside was that it was unseasonably warm while we were there, though the apartment was fairly cool thanks to the thick walls and the high ceiling. Location wise, it could not be better. Central but off the main road. Great cafes and grocery stores right at the doorstep. And Pétér and Brigitta could not have been more helpful. Never intrusive, but always eager to make the holiday a pleasure. Obviously they have been around and use that experience to help other travellers make the most of their holiday: and they totally succeeded with us!
