Positive: The building and grounds are beautiful!

Negative: The bathrooms were not in the room but the host upgraded us to having a floor to ourselves so we had the bathrooms to ourselves as well.

Summary: It was a lovely place and the host was exceptionally communicative and thoughtful. She even upgraded us for no charge.

Positive: Very clean, great breakfast, amazing setting (800 yr old castle in the gorgeous Emmental hills & farms). We walked to the Trachelwald Castle (and up the steep steps inside the prison tower) fascinating history!

Summary: Since we were staying 2 nights, Deborah offered us a free upgrade to the suite!
