Set on 90 acres of beautiful rolling hills over looking Myall Lake, this property is the ultimate holiday retreat. Accommodation is a solid sand stone house with high ceilings and large verandas. It is Ideal for two families with children or 3 couples. It has a open plan kitchen with dining and living area all incorporated. The Kitchen area opens up onto a large veranda with water views over looking the Lake. The veranda has a long out door dining table, ideal for large breakfast lunches and dinners. There are 3 large bedrooms, one master bedroom with ensuite and breathtaking views over the valley.

Situated 3 hours from Sydney, this beautifully located property was once part of a old dairy farm and borders the national park and Myall lake. Easy access to beaches,15 minutes to Seal Rocks, Pacific Palms and Blues Beach.
Activities
Fantastic fishing along the breathtaking coastline.
Surfing is excellent and the way the surf beaches are positioned, you are likely to find a wave in all conditions.
Bush walking and trekking in any of the National parks.
Dogs are welcome but strictly only allowed outdoors, there is a big deck for sleeping dogs. So if your dog can not be outside please be aware that this house might not be for you.

Summary: Stayed with family (four adults + two kids under 6) so were easily accommodated in the three rooms. The place is nestled on the hills in a farm with pleanty of space and views over Myall lake. Although a bit out of town, beaches are all relatively accessible (Seal Rocks, Boomerang, etc) and there are plenty of local shops for groceries around. Kitchen was well equiped to cook up family meals for all, along with the BBQ on the deck.

Summary: My husband and I and our young adult daughter stayed for nearly a week on her Fall Break from Uni. We’d wanted a place on the beach but everything was booked. But we’re so glad we landed at this delightful place which was such a beautiful spot nestled in the hills with gorgeous sweeping views. We were still a very short drive from fantastic beaches but this spot offered such a unique experience in its situation and its design. I’d describe it as “modern rustic with a scandi vibe,” with a hint of classic rural Australia (we’re Americans, so that’s our take on it which might differ from a native Aussie perception). Beds were very comfortable and we slept well, it’s so quiet up there. Kitchen was adequate and modern though not overly cluttered with every imaginable gadget and appliance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

Summary: We loved our week at Bodi Farm so much. The house was really cosy and comfortable and had everything we could want. We spent a lot of time on the verandah enjoying the beautiful view and lighting the outside fire when it started to cool down. The kids had fun exploring the property- great tip from a previous guest to send them off to collect the fire wood! The beaches are an easy drive, with lots of options where we could take our dog too. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Summary: We loved our stay at Bodi Farm. We had 2 kids and a dog and the whole thing worked brilliantly. The kids loved running around all the space on the property, doing the jigsaw puzzles and toasting marshmallows at night. The house has a lovely farm house feel to it with some really lovely additions to make it feel extra special. The view at any time of the day is breathtaking, particularly at sunset. We loved having our coffee and breakfast on the beautiful big deck in the morning and a glass of wine watching the sunset at dusk. We cannot wait to come back. Robert was a pleasure to deal with too.

Summary: This place is ideal fot those who want to sit back and enjoy the view. We spent 6 days here and had a great time enjoying national park bush walks and ocean swims all within a 20 min drive. The house is set up high with gorgeos view across a valley and Myall lake in the distance. Beds are comfy and the house is well maintained.

Summary: Our while family enjoyed a refreshing stay exploring the interesting features of the property, relaxing with books and games before the gorgeous lake and bushland views, or cosying up in the warmth of the gas heater or toasting marshmallows over the outdoor wood stove. Rob was available and responsive when (minor) issues arose. Agree with an earlier review that a microwave would be a helpful addition to an otherwise well-stocked kitchen (maybe some pegs too given the washing machine). Late checkout made for a relaxed end to our stay too.

Summary: We had a wonderful time staying at Bodi Farm. Set high on a hill over looking Myall Lake, the views are beautiful. The kids loved the freedom of lots of space outside, outdoor fires and being able to run through the paddocks. The indoor fire was an unexpected surprise and worked brilliantly and warming the house. The kitchen was well set out with everything needed to cook up some delights. The location worked well with being away from the crowds but a quick car trip to Seal Rocks, Blueys and Boomerang beaches. We will be back!
