Positive: The house was spectacular. It was comfortable and there was plenty of space.
Negative: We couldn't figure out the heating system. More detailed instructions would be a great help for someone that does not have that particular system.
Summary: Enjoyable and relaxing "home base" for the area.

Positive: The house was amazing, beautiful inside and was very clean! We had such a wonderful time for our 12 day stay and the location is fantastic. There was so much to explore on the lake along with fishing ,kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming. It was very relaxing for us and my 9.5 year old daughter had a blast and said she absolutely loved swimming in the lake and paddle boarding around. There is so much wildlife to be seen at the lake, there were loons, bald eagles, wood ducks and more. The neighbors in the surrounding homes were super nice and gave us tips for exploring the lake and fishing. It was a nice surprise when we arrived that they had installed a hot tub and had redone the fire pit area and steps down to the dock since we had originally booked it. The house was plenty big for us as a group of 5 (4 adults, 1 child). We were able to bring our 2 dogs with us as well which was fantastic and they loved swimming in the lake. The house has 2 kayaks and 2 paddle boards to use. The house was equipped enough for us to make meals. The house is located about 5-7 minutes from downtown Ludlow, we loved going to the farmers market on Sunday mornings and recommended Killarney’s Irish Pub for dinner. Lots of cute shops in downtown as well.
Negative: Since we had such a fantastic time we looked at booking for next summer already and were sad to see the price doubled from what we paid this year.

Positive: Newly renovated house with a gorgeous view of Lake Rescue in Ludlow. Everything seems like it was high quality and you can tell the owners put love into the renovation. Lots of space for a couples weekend or weekend with the family. Pet friendly as well. This was our first time in Vermont & and we’ll definitely be booking this property again!
Negative: Steepness of North Shore Dr can be a bit tough in the winter without an SUV.
