Positive: We really enjoyed that there were trails right next to neighborhood that you can walk 1 mile to the beach. We brought our dogs & they loved it. The neighborhood was very quiet.
Negative: We called the number for help as the very old toilet plunger did not seal, they said they would send someone over, get a new plunger & bring a screwdriver for the very squeaky bed but no one ever came or dropped off what they said they would.

Positive: Location, hot tub, saw some elk! The house was nice, but obviously not well cared for.
Negative: The pans/pots were scratched up and rusty, no basic supplies like pot holders, very few useful items stocked. We were unable to cook easily, which was our goal for the long weekend. There was candle wax on the blankets

Positive: The house was cute and located conveniently between Manzanita and the access to the parks and beach. We enjoyed the hot tub.
Negative: The home apparently did not have air conditioning, only heat which we were not aware of. There were no ceiling fans but there were fans for the bedrooms. We visited in early June and were still hot at night with the fans on. We booked through Bookings.com although the house was technically managed by Vacasa. We never received driving directions and when we couldn't find the house late at night, tried calling the number we were given for the host which apparently was not a working number. In addition, I contacted Vacasa the first day we were there about the air conditioning and they said they would check into it and we never heard back. We were there for 3 nights. I would not book this home again because of the lack of air conditioning and because I didn't feel we had clear communication from the leasing company. Additionally this home was not inexpensive. We paid over $1,400 for three nights.
Summary: Hiking, sights on 101 were lovely. We'd stay in Cannon Beach next time. It was nicer.
