Positive: Loved the location, and the cottage had everything you could need. My only criticism would be the mattresses they were hard and uncomfortable.

Negative: Memory foam or softer mattresses would have been great. Even memory foam toppers to put on the beds if required would be great.

Positive: Lovely quiet place with scenery and wildlife. Convenient location for exploring Dumfries, Annan, etc. Cottage included everything one would need for a comfortable stay. Great value to boot.

Negative: Accommodation lacked valet parking, on-site masseuse, and gold plated taps in the bathroom. 😉 Other than that, there's nothing not to like.
