Positive: Nice welcome, taken to room, nice and very clean with kettle coffee etc. Booked for evening meal, had table prepped but chose to eat outside as lovely weather, no problem from the staff Lovely food, and breakfast cooked superb.

Positive: The location is great for us, near relatives. It’s a very quaint hotel. The rooms are small but have everything you need. The beds are very comfortable. The restaurant is good, and the breakfasts are delicious. Free parking across the road.

Positive: The location was superb - close to the motorway so was great to break out journey up. The room was well equipped and the dinner and breakfast were both cooked to perfection. We were well looked after and the team were helpful and friendly.

Positive: Beautiful! Great location and amazing property. Friendly staff and food. Cosy vibes.
Negative: Roadside parking is very tight. And a busy parking lot over weekends so there was no space. But to be expected in a small village.

Positive: Dinner was great! Tasty food & very attentive staff. Two of our rooms were comfortable and clean. Beautiful location.
Negative: One of the rooms smelt damp and mouldy. Breakfast service was very slow, two breakfasts were cold and poached eggs were overcooked.

Negative: No ventilation. Room had double doors onto beer garden and no window so could not ventilate during the night. Asked if there was a fan (as this was noted in room details) informed that no fan was available. Really hot night and uncomfortable sleep as a result.

Positive: Breakfast was good value and delicious. on Saturday evening we had the evening meal and it was also delicious - I had scallops, trout and date pudding. Because we were staying at the Inn, we could both enjoy drinks with the meal and not have to think who was going to drive! The staff were excellent - professional and friendly - whether at the bar, restaurant, Front of house, or housekeeping. This was our third visit and it won't be our last!
Negative: Small things really: The WIFI was a bit inconsistent around the Inn ON Sunday morning at breakfast, there were church bells from the church next door (which we liked) but you couldn't hear them clearly because of the background music in the restaurant. Of course some people would prefer the music, I understand that!!
Summary: Our third stay here was well up to standard - it is a lovely place to stay.

Positive: The food is a bit pricey but is exceptionally good.
Negative: My table hadn't been wiped properly on the edge and there had been children sitting there previously. When I leaned over to look at a photo on my husbands phone I got a straight line of chocolate across my cream blouse. The waitresses apologised but I didn't get offered anything complimentary, only a cloth to wipe the table.
