Summary: My husband and I, along with our three children, ages 7, 4 and 2 enjoyed a short weekend here at the river cabin. The dock was well furnished, and we got to enjoy some time outside on the patio as well. The inside of the house was well furnished and comfortable for our family. The loft setup upstairs was actually great for our kids ages. We wish the weather had cooperated better for us because the kids would’ve loved to enjoy the complimentary s’mores kit included with our stay. The location was a quick 20-30 minute drive to Granbury or Weatherford and was nice little neighborhood along the Brazos. Check in and checkout was simple and communication with the host was easy. Thanks for a great stay!

Summary: Myself and my childhood friends all met at the Brazos Sugar Shack for our annual girlfriend weekend. We like the Lake Granbury area and have stayed at many locations in the past five years. The Brazos Sugar Shack is our #1 place to stay! It was wonderfully situated with immediate water access. Impeccably decorated with every detail being so well thought out! It was spacious and most of all comfortable! The host partner came by and lit the fire pit for us! We stayed out around it for close to five hours throwing the abundance of logs to keep it going. The smores that went along with the fire were the cherry on top! I hesitate to say much more for fears that everyone will discover this gem of a place and it not be available for me or my friends again! Thank you for a great place so we could have fun with one another and laugh and be happy together!

Summary: My guests were blown away by this home. I had family coming in from out of state for a wedding. They were so impressed with the charm, tasteful decor, and cleanliness of this home! They loved having coffee on the dock patio in the morning, and were disappointed when they had to leave. Everything was well stocked. Check out instructions were easy. I would say the only thing missing was an in-home manual. I rented this for family, since they didn't have direct access to the VRBO messaging portal. It was the only hassle, but in no way a reflection of this property. The front door keypad wasn't working, and they used the back door, which was fine. There was just a bit of time delay between messaging homeowners and texting my family. Other than that, it was a perfect and memorable stay for my family.

Summary: Lovely stay at this house on the river. We did not know the beds upstairs were loft style but that did not disrupt our stay. One of the upstairs beds is very creaky which was a bit disturbing to the other guests but we overall slept fine. Beds were comfortable and plenty of blankets. The dock was very nice to sit and enjoy.

Summary: Awesome place on the Brazos . We enjoyed the boat dock, Kids caught several fish on the dock and the boat lift was a game changer as we didn’t have to load every day. House was very comfortable and well equipped! We will be back!

Summary: Amazing place to stay on the river! The house, back patio, yard and dock were perfect for our family vacation. And trust me, you don’t have to have a boat to stay. Our’s stayed in the slip one full day while we enjoyed swimming, jumping off the dock and watching all the other boaters pass by. Book it now, you won’t regret a thing!
