Like a breath of cool ocean air, Logan’s Lodge will refresh your senses and provide a fantastic setting for your time at the beach. Its setting above the Pacific puts you just three houses down from the entrance to Roads End State Park and easy access to sandy beach, tide pooling, wind-surfing and more. A huge deck spans the length of the home, with wide open views of the sand and surf below--and the whales, seals and seabirds cruising by. The main-floor great room, with gleaming hardwoods throughout, provides comfortable, contemporary sofas for enjoying the huge flat-screen TV/DVD player. A large dining table seats six, with a window seat for taking in the view. The updated kitchen has speckled granite counters, glass tile backsplash detail and stainless appliances, including a gas stove. A main-floor queen bedroom is roomy and accessible. The stairs to the upper floor feature a unique oculus window that will delight the kids--so will a bedroom with twin bunks and a second bedroom with four twin beds! There’s an additional queen bedroom, plus a queen suite and a queen bedroom with direct access to a shared bath--each with views of the ocean and their own flat-screen TVs. There’s a sweet, protected courtyard with chairs in front of the home, a gas barbecue for grilling, and a large tiled entryway and laundry room for your sandy forays to the beach. Summary: Great location, breathtaking view! Lots of space. Not disappointed. Fireplace not operating. Would have been nice for stormy weather to have a fire. Overall great stay!

Summary: We stayed here for a dual birthday celebration and the home was perfect! We loved the view from the hot tub and the many west facing windows. The home was cozy, spacious and well stocked. We'd all love to come back some day! It was a quick walk to the beach

Summary: The location of this house is everything!! Very easy access to the beach, where we spent much of our time. It would have been nice if they had provided some beach towels and/or chairs/toys, but we were able to borrow/buy some. They have updated the kitchen appliances and I think are planning to update the washing machine (which was very finicky). It was a great house for our blended family and we are so thankful to have had the time together here. I would definitely recommend it to others!

Summary: House was clean and ready when we arrived. We couldn’t get the back sliding door locked and there were a few things (fireplace, window) with signs on them so we knew they weren’t working. Additionally not all the blinds work. Beds were comfortable and the view was great. It would have been helpful to know ahead of time that the room with four twin beds is only accessible by entering through the bunk room. Also, the corner railing on the NW corner of the deck is not stable. Kitchen was well equipped.

Summary: Ignore the old reviews about it being dated. They have upgraded all the appliances. The house was perfect for our group of guys. Deck is awesome, lots of beds. Hot tub is big and hot. Would stay again.

Summary: The pictures of this house are dressed up a bit. The house is dated and needs a lot of repair. The kitchen was very nice, but the fridge is old and the ice maker and water feature in the fridge wasn’t working as the owners of the home put a note on the fridge not to use it. The walls are dirty everywhere. Mold in most window sills and water damage on the windowsills and some windows wouldn’t even close. The back sliding door to the patio is extremely hard to open and close. The hot tub was gross. There was hair floating around, grass, sand and other weird things the water looked like it was starting to turn green and cloudy. No direct beach access from the house. The neighbors have stairs but it’s fenced off we are not able to use it. However, beach access is not far away. We also noticed a slight propane smell when we first arrived. Probably coming from the fireplace or the gas range. The beds were comfortable. We will not consider this house again for the price.
