Summary: The house is in a really neat and historic location!!!! The inside is cool and nostalgic!!!!! The grounds and lake are fantastic!!! The inside could use a top to bottom deep clean!!!! I would return!!!!

Summary: We had a great time visiting family in Cadiz. Awesome views of Lake Barkley and watching sunsets over LBL. Great central location to get to many locations in the area. Love going back “home” to Trigg county! Great spot!

Summary: Good location, great views of the water and bridge (although the trees blocked a good portion of the bridge which was lit up at night as it was difficult to see it). We knew there was no access to the water from the property (walking distance) but it sure would have been nice. The house was as described however the outside lights didn’t work by the patio area and the fan had a broken piece so it didn’t work; the lights on the upper deck also didn’t work (other than the ceiling fan and light) but the ones on the sides of the deck didn’t work (would have looked pretty cool if they did and we would have definitely spent more time outside. Anyhow our overall experience was pretty good.

Summary: We had some issues with cleanliness upon arrival. We contacted the owner and he was there in short order and worked to make it a more pleasant experience. We also had an issue with the upstairs air on a Saturday afternoon, and the owner was there within an hour or so with an A/C tech to get it resolved. While the cleaning issue kept it from being a 5 star experience, we would give the view and location 10 stars if we could. Sitting on the elevated deck watching the barges and paddle wheeler go by and enjoying the beautiful sunsets and stars was a wonderful experience.

Summary: We went with friends and family on labor day weekend and the view to the lake was amazing. The backyard was perfect for entertaining and enjoying the sunset. This part of the lake was quite so it was very peaceful. The kitchen had everything you would need to prepare a huge dinner. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Summary: We very much enjoyed our stay. The view of the water was fantastic. Beds were comfy and the property was very clean. We used the grill one night and it worked nicely. We would stay here again.
