Positive: The property is great, can’t fault it at all. Unfortunately the cleaning was not done in the main bedroom. Dirty sheets, dirty towels, the bathroom was dirty and there was long black hair literally everywhere! We had to clean the place from top to bottom, wash and change all the bed linen and towels before we could rest. Not what you want after a long drive.
Summary: The property is great. I would however like our cleaning charge to be fully reimbursed!

Positive: The design layout. Done with great care. A wonderful renovation. Every possible care taken to make it a ‘Home from Home’ experience.even down to Board Games and Jigsaws. Very impressed. The attention to the information given at the property was great, especially restaurant recommendations.
Negative: This is not a negative but a suggestion from my experience. A second Handrail on the stairs would be a bonus. I travelled with a friend who is not disabled but has some slight mobility issues and this would have proved a huge help, especially for guests a little older.
Summary: Need a second visit-So Good🩷

Positive: Excellent in every respect. A beautiful area. The cottage provided everything we could have wanted. indeed, more than we expected.
Negative: It would have been nice to meet a host, but this was not necessary. My texted inquiries before we went were not answered and I had to assume all instructions and clarifications would be laid out in written instructions on site- and so it proved.
Summary: A delightful cottage with every amenity imaginable.

Negative: Cleaners had not done their job properly. Blinds in main bedroom dirty. Cobwebs under fireplace. Dirt behind chest in 2nd bedroom. Cobwebs in Main living room. Dirty deluxe windows. Unclean baking trays.

Positive: Our stay here was wonderful. The kitchen, dining area and large living area were so well furnished and very comfortable. Lovely tasteful decor in all rooms and bedrooms. The kitchen had an incredible amount of appliances, including lots of different types of drinking glasses, plenty of plates, bowls, and cookware which made cooking so easy. The bed was very comfortable. Easy access to keys and we were able to park right in front. We throughly enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for traveling around to explore some of the other towns and countryside.

Positive: The cottage has been converted, furnished and equipped to a very high standard. This is clearly a place the owners set up with the intention of holidaying there themselves. Everything from the completely automated heating to the luxurious shower(s) and fluffy bath sheets made for a really comfortable and cozy stay. Highly recommended.
Negative: The mattress in the master bedroom is on the soft side. I have an iffy back and something firmer suits me better, but that's just a personal choice. There's absolutely nothing to complain about with this excellent accommodation.
