The Windsong Retreat is a special place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life while exploring and experiencing the incredible majesty of Minnesota's North Shore.
You'll love the home for its dramatic views of Lake Superior, for the stunning sunrises, for abundant sunlight that pours in through large windows, for comfortable furnishings that invite rest, and for light, cheerful decor that lifts the spirit.
The home features three bedrooms, two on the upper level and one on the main level. The upper level master bedroom offers dramatic panoramic views of Lake Superior. It has a sitting area with swivel chairs that can be turned to enjoy the lake view, or spun around to watch TV. There is also a coffee bar with a Keurig coffee maker, private bath with heated floors and walk-in shower.
The upper level guest bedroom has a queen bed and private en-suite bath with walk-in shower. The main level bedroom has two twin beds and a walk-through bath with a tub/shower combo.

Summary: We stayed there for our (the wife and I and another couple) first time last year. We liked it so much and were so happy with the property that we decided to stay there again. It is well appointed and very comfortable.

Summary: This is an absolutely beautiful place to stay. The condo/townhouse is just steps away from Lake Superior. The view from the master bedroom is spectacular! The home is so clean, bright and comfortable. The location is perfect for heading south to Two Harbors or north to Grand Marais. The MN state parks are just amazing--great trails for hiking and beautiful scenery. Highly recommend!!

Summary: the vrbo was large, clean, and in a stunning location. we went to tettegouche state park the morning after we arrived, and the location was so convenient. being able to see the lake out the windows was really special, and we even moseyed down to the lake, though it was swarming with bugs (as is expected). we also used the fabulous amenities—the pool and sauna—without being disturbed. the entire experience was quite tranquil! i hope to visit again sometime. the only thing that threw me off was that the exterior was being painted unbenknownst to us, so when we arrived that night, many of the unit's window's were covered (to protect from the paint). by the end of our second day, though, that was gone, and we were able to enjoy the porch and views.

Summary: Beautiful place and very well taken care of. Beds are very comfortable, kitchen well stocked, we loved our stay! Only thing we could had used was a washer and dryer, but that was my fault for not paying attention in the description. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Summary: This was the second time that our family stayed at this property. Our first trip was in 2012. We were excited when we realized that we had found the same place to stay this time when searching for places to stay in Beaver Bay. The current owners made some nice updates to the interior. It is a very comfortable home with easy access to the paved and mountain bike trails.

Summary: I'll admit right from the start that we were blessed with great weather, being sunny every day and in the 30's. There is great attention to detail as far as guest comfort goes. The blankets, pillows, and bedsheets were very comfortable. A very nice touch was the heated floors in the bathrooms as well! The kitchen was well stocked with utinsels and cooking tools as well which made things much easier for us. Check in was easy and painless as well as directions for check out.
