Friends have called our home the Lakehouse as there is a beautiful lake across the street with trails and parks. We're a 5 minute drive to the highway and a 35 minute drive to downtown Toronto

Summary: We stayed at the Lakeview house to celebrate my brothers 60th birthday. The location is amazing, steps away from the waterfront trail. The house itself is extremely clean, and was ideal for our family. I will definitely stay here again next time I’m in Oshawa.

Summary: I was clean but it felt like the smaller bedroom was not freshly cleaned. I suggest you have a set of new towels and bedding that is only for your guest. We felt like we were staying at a family member home and not at a place where we paid to stay. Also have some information about how to turn on the TV, extra blanket, pillows for the outside furniture.

Summary: I have a mobility issue and the entrance into the house was with paved stone which were in an angled pattern and uneven surfaces. The handrail was not very secure but I had help from my family. That last step into the house was over height (10"-12") Bedroom identified as on lower level was NOT on the Main Floor but in the Basement with access via narrow stairs without any handrails. In that bedroom's 1/2 bath, the towel rack fell apart when a towel was placed on it. Also. the bed was reported as being a bit on the hard side. The side door entrance was not convenient for me since no handrail and High steps. Air conditioned was a bit misleading since several rooms had fans to help keep the place cool? The TV could navigate but you had to physically press the TV buttons to control the volume and to turn it ON or OFF. Overall, if you have young kids and are able bodied, this is a good place for you. Summary: If you are looking for a place to stay in Oshawa this is it! With Lake Ontario a 5 min walk away the scenery is beautiful ! The house is clean and specious. Courtney is a fantastic host and very easy to communicate and deal with. This is our second time staying here and if we ever need to come to Oshawa it won't be the last. Book now you won't regret it !
