Summary: The house and setting are fabulous..Seeing Amtrak train go by in the distance was a highlight each afternoon. We really enjoyed sitting out on one of the porches and enjoying a morning coffee or evening drink. It was a great change from Santa Fe and the Pecos mountain biking and fly fishing at our back door was fantastic.

Summary: This property is very beautiful. Wish I would have brought hiking shoes. Unfortunately our stay was for business, but we still enjoyed sitting outside. For those who travel in and rent a car a truck is a must. Also might want to get your shopping done before dark. The sky is amazing! Thank you for the tequila! Really needed it after a long day working. Thank you so much!

Summary: I can not say enough how much we enjoyed this stay. I did a New Mexico road trip with my daughter and stayed at 2 resorts and 3 VRBO on our trip. This was our favorite of all of them. The views are amazing from the living room and both bedrooms. Everything from the fresh flowers, fresh produce and too many other items to list makes this place better than all the rest. The thoughtfulness of the owners can not be understated. A flower was left on our doorstep on the morning of our departure for my daughter that meant so much to her. Thank you, Joe!

Summary: Walking in to fresh flowers in each room. A box full of fruit on the counter. Opened the refrigerator and it was stocked full of all kinds of fresh food; cheese, dips, fresh meals, juice, wine, you name it, it was there. Unbelievable. Even salmon. We did not have a clue that we would be so surprised! What a treat! We enjoyed our stay and really enjoyed all the artwork and talking to the owner, who is the artist! A neat place to lay back and enjoy!

Summary: Not only is this a beautiful and tranquil property, but Joe & Fran are amazing hosts! The kitchen is fully stocked and has all the necessities to make several sumptuous meals. There is a solid spirits/wine selection to pair everything with. (I have stayed at numerous properties and never come across a home with such a thoughtful pantry.) The rooms are large and the beds are extremely comfortable. Both bathrooms are fully stocked and there is no shortage of warm/hot water. The home is extremely clean and tasteful decorated. Joe checked in with us regularly to make sure we were comfortable but was never overbearing. The living room with the wood burning fireplace was cozy and a great place to relax especially after a long day of hiking. My family and dog absolutely loved our stay during the Thanksgiving holiday. We recommend it highly as a getaway for couples and families!
