My home is an extensively renovated character home in one of the most desirable residential areas of Winnipeg. Located on a tree lined street, this bungalow is conveniently situated within a few minutes drive to the airport, Polo Park Mall, the Outlet Mall, IKEA, Downtown, theatre, entertainment & Exchange districts, the Forks & Riverwalk, St Boniface, Spas, Museums, Canada Life Centre- Home of the Jets, Gold Eyes Baseball field, Osborne Village & Wolseley area. Within a short walk or bike ride to Wellington Crescent, Assiniboine Park, Forest & Zoo, Academy Road with upscale boutique shopping, restaurants, coffee shops, bars, Little Italy, local specialty grocery shops, Cheese & Fish Mongers, & major grocery outlets.
The cozy bungalow boasts new large windows & original oak hardwood flooring throughout. A bright cozy year round sunroom, a perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee or glass of wine, provides access to parking pad & fully fenced private landscaped yard with interlocking patio, firepit & Weber grill for guest use. Mountain bicycles are available upon request & use is at your own risk.
The kitchen is well equipped with essentials & all appliances, cookware, dishes & utensils, linens, cappuccino maker & Italian coffee press.
A back parking pad along with ample street parking is available & bus stops are conveniently located across the street.
The open concept living area consists of a flat screen TV & wall mounted electric fireplace, with marble detail, white leather & wicker furnishings. The dining area faces the breakfast/coffee bar & kitchen complete with white quartz countertop, bar stools, dining table & chairs. The spacious bedroom is complete with feather bed & feather duvet along with black out blinds, flat screen TV/DVD unit, electric wall mounted fireplace, & large mirrored closet.

Summary: My stay was awesome. Everything was very clean and much better than expected. The host has decorated beautifully the whole house and has responded to my questions right away. I definitely recommend this home for your stay in Winnipeg.

Summary: After entering the gate in the back of the house, you are welcomed by a cute little mud-room back-foyer. The home itself is comfy, cozy and well stocked for making your own meals and even baking if you wanted! Bed is comfortable, and electric fire places in the bedroom and living room created a warm ambiance. Top dollar blinds and furniture was a plus too! This properly is close to much of what you'd want to do in downtown Winnipeg, while also being close to Little Italy/Corydon, along with proximity to the University of Manitoba and Assiniboine Park. Would stay again!

Summary: We were super excited when we stumbled upon this newly renovated home in a wonderful suburb of Winnipeg. The home did not disappoint on arrival with a seamless process from the time of booking. Ours was a long-stay just on 3 weeks so we were a little taken aback when we discovered there was no laundry facilities and change of bedding & towels during our stay. After a few days we started to notice a terrible smell in the home and on contacting the agent we felt that our concern was dismissed and nothing was done about it. The smell did not improve and we spent less time at the home because of it. On the day of departure the agent obviously checked on the home and discovered what we had been trying to explain to her weeks before. Her messages then implied that we had caused the problem by flushing things down the drains etc which we found rather insulting. So a home away stay turned out to be just that. If the responses from the agent were more professional then we certainly would have given our stay an excellent review but it was soured sadly.

Summary: This was a beautiful house in a lovely neighbourhood. It was extremely clean, with a well-equipped kitchen and a welcoming and homey feel. There was even a fenced yard with a firepit to enjoy the outdoors. The location is great as well - close to restaurants, shops and parks. The neighbourhood is lovely to walk around with huge trees and friendly people - a particular highlight was the lemonade stand set up by some enterprising neighbourhood kids. Very refreshing. Roxanne, the host, was welcoming and quick to respond to any questions. I felt very much at home.

Summary: Behind an unassuming exterior, this rental reveals itself to be an oasis of calm in an established residential neighborhood. A convenience store, a plant store and spa as well as restaurants are within walking distance of the house on Corydon. The house is fully equipped with bed and bathroom linens as well as kitchen utensils and supplies to cook basic meals. The kitchen has a dishwasher. Access is contactless, by door code, making check out and check in easy. It was, however, very difficult to obtain location and check in information for the property, even though full payment is required more than a month in advance of the stay. Though the owner/manager is responsive when contacted, they would not provide this information when asked and when the bill had already been paid in full, to the point that I actually contacted VRBO customer service to find out if the property was legitimate. I was assured that it was but left the US for this stay completely stressed out. The owner did finally provide the information and why it was withheld the day before check in but this is far too late, in my opinion, especially for non locals. It would be great if the property information stated clearly when check in information is provided and that this information not come so late (minimum 3 days in advance of check in as with most VRBO properties). Luckily, the property turned out to be as advertised and we had a tranquil stay. Note: property is not handicap accessible.

Summary: This house was a wonderful little bungalow. It was warm and cozy and nicely decorated. The kitchen was well stocked. The bed was comfortable. The neighborhood is lovely and the location was the best for us. It was halfway between two of the relatives we were there to visit and was within walking distance. We couldn't have asked for anything better. Would definitely stay again.

Summary: The Little White House is a comfy, nicely decorated apartment-sized house that’s perfect for a couple or singles. Coffee included — and three ways to make it — was a nice touch. The bed is large but very soft and puffy, so if you like a firm bed, this ain’t the place. Great location in one of Winnipeg’s nicest treed neighbourhoods and close to shops on Corydon Ave.
