Summary: The house does have a great view. We loved the deck view and the Gerroa area is nice - we'd return. But, there is a construction site next door to the house. We were there over a weekend so no noise but Monday 7 am it started and it's noisy, many trucks and workers about. Also, we were there in early April and it gets cool in the evenings and mornings and the house had one space heater. Yes, one can make a fire but one doesn't really want to do that every time entering the house. We did phone the realtor and one was not offered. One more space heater would have meant we didn't have to drag it from the living area to the bedroom at night. It was just us so, with children, two additional would be better. We did this as a late-booking as we extended our stay in Australia. The area, 7 Mile Beach are glorious, we enjoyed walking, drives around.

Summary: This is a lovely place with magical views over Gerroa. Our family has a wonderful stay and enjoyed breakfasts and dinners on the balcony.

Summary: The house is cosy, we used the fireplace as we went in winter (bring your own firewood) which kept the house at a comfortable temperature and provided a nice ambiance. Electric heater also provided which was great for overnight in the bedroom. Furniture was all tasteful, comfortable and clean. Kitchen had everything one needs for preparing your own food. The view was excellent. The walk to the beach was short but was not easy for us with a 1 yr old, the backyard which we walked through to get there was very muddy and there were no footpaths. However it is a quick easy drive. The beach was great for the little one, quiet, lots of sand and would be great for long walks. Unfortunately we can’t comment on the local cafe as it was closed the days we were there (Tuesday and Wednesday). Our property manager was great to deal with, communication was easy and quick. The Kiama/Gerringong/Gerroa area is beautiful and should be on everyone’s must stay list.

Summary: My family and I really enjoyed our stay in Gerroa. From walking to the beach. Walking to get our morning coffee to enjoying almost every meal on the deck taking in the great view. The location is central that you were able to walk to the beach but you could also walk up to fisho's. The house may not have much street appeal but once you walk inside see the view and all the modern finishes, It has everything you need for a simple south coast holiday. We would recommend this house for anyone looking to get away but dont have to travel to far from Sydney.
