Enjoy the tranquility of being on an 80 acre working farm in the famous Batlow apple country region.
The farm has striking 180 degree views over the Brindabella ranges in the distance with the dramatic Blowering Rocks in the foreground.
Your choice - enjoy either the exquisitely furnished farmhouse or the two glamping tents with fully equipped camp kitchen! - or both!!
The House:
The comfort of the modern, spacious, single level, 4 bedroom house is exceptional and includes a main bedroom with a king bed, ensuite and walk in robe. The ensuite includes a full bath and separate shower. The second bedroom has a queen bed with built in robes, the third bedroom has 2 King Single beds while the 4th bedroom has a king which can be converted into 2 king singles. An additional separate bathroom includes another shower, bath and toilet.
There is an open fire place in the lounge room as well as gas central heating throughout the house. A fully equipped modern kitchen with dishwasher, Nespresso coffee maker, microwave, fridge/freezer, full double oven plus cook-top makes cooking on holidays a pleasure!
A breakfast area along with a separate full formal dining room provides alternate dining options - not to mention the verandahs that surround the house with tables and chairs for options that include the breathtaking views.
There is also a fully equipped laundry with washing machine, ironing facilities and an additional toilet.
Views from every bedroom encourage mornings in bed with a cup of tea whilst reading your favourite book. In summer the sensational sunsets should be appreciated while enjoying an apperetif on one of several verandahs - maybe while preparing a gourmet BBQ?
The rumpus room is fully equipped with many all time favourite games, toys for children and an easel for the artists. There is a collection of sporting equipment including tennis racquets, shuttle cock/net, board games table and totem tennis.
For those with a need to explore, the farm offers relaxing walks in the native bushland or simply enjoying the garden summerhouse whilst observing the amazing birdlife.
Afternoons in winter can be spent either curled up in front of the open fire or exploring the district. There are many different tourist spots that can be discovered including the world reknowned Sugar Pine walk at Laurel Hill, the historic Adelong Falls, Buddong Falls and Paddy's River falls.
Within walking distance, there are many orchards that sell Australia\'s best apples in winter and cherries, blueberries, raspberries, apricots, peaches in the summer.
Nearby - enjoy fishing, water skiing, jet boating or sailing on Blowering Dam. In winter the farm is 1.25 hours drive to Selwyn snowfields - a terrific family ski resort. Additionally the drive to the Selwyn is spectacular in itself - taking in superb mountain scenery along Blowering Dam, over Talbingo mountain and through Yarrangobilly village.
For those who enjoy sports such as lawn bowls, tennis, swimming or golf the nearest township of Batlow (5 km away) has all these amenities. Neighbouring towns include: Tumut, Adelong and Tumbarumba. In Adelong enjoy the remnants of the goldfields, in Tumbarumba enjoy the the many wineries and in Tumut indulge in a myriad of activities including exploring the varied shops and restaurants.

Summary: My son and I met here for a four-day break with our two dogs. I’ve never had such a wonderful time in cold, wet weather - usually that would spoil my holiday - but nothing could take away the beauty of this farmstay. It was spacious yet so cosy, clean, well-equipped, with beautiful views from every window.

Summary: We had the most amazing time at Brindabella Farmstay! The house was even more beautiful and comfortable than we imagined, the glamping tents were amazing (!) and we awoke to gorgeous sunrises and wildlife every morning. It was the most relaxed we’ve been in years. We absolutely loved it here and would love to come again.

Summary: Rolling hills, farm animals and a warm wonderfully set up country house. Exactly what we wanted with two families and kids to entertain. Plenty of yard space for the kids to play, close enough to bush walks for alternate entertainment and only a short drive to Tumut or Batlow for whatever else you need. House was well set up with everything we needed for a long weekend and was warm and inviting with ducted heating and an open fireplace that demanded it be sat in front of. Fantastic property. We will be back.

Summary: We had a lovely relaxing stay and we loved the house and felt very comfortable and at home. We enjoyed the bird life around the property especially the flame robins and the fire kept us warm and cosy when it was cold and wet on the Monday of our stay.
