Leave your worries behind and enjoy all the natural beauty and attractions the area has to offer. Excellent restaurants, Redfern Village, Starbucks, local boutiques / antique stores, groceries, night life and the beach are just minutes from your front door. Explore the Village/Pier, Lighthouse, Fort Frederica, the Tree Spirits, Jekyll Island and so much more while soaking in gorgeous century old live oaks and stunning views. You can cruise around at your leisure with the 3 adult bikes provided to ride trails that cover the entire island, all right from your front door.
Boat trips, kayak adventures, dolphin tours, golf cart rentals, day spas, horseback riding, year-round bird-watching, a boat casino and historical monuments are just a few of the ways to keep everyone entertained each day of your vacation. There is also plenty of world-class golf, traditional, hot or beach yoga, pickleball, tennis, volleyball and surf or skim boarding to do around town, not to mention all you can enjoy by just visiting the beach, soaking up the sun and digging your toes in the sand!
Just 5 minutes down the road is Gascoigne Bluff Park along the Frederica River with lots of shade from the beautiful live oaks for dog walking, a bamboo garden, pier for fishing and crabbing and disc golf. Be sure to read the historical markers to learn how the St. Simons live oaks were used to build the USS Constitution.
In between sight-seeing, take a dip in the pool that is steps from the front door (May-Oct), cook-out on the gas grill on the enclosed private back deck or whip up your favorite meal in the fully stocked kitchen with brand new appliances. The back deck also includes a dining area and cold-water shower to rinse off. You can start your day by sipping tea, local coffee or a cup from the Keurig while smelling the salty air from the deck and lounging in your PJ's.
The upstairs primary bedroom has a brand new extra comfortable king bed, 42 in TV, vanity with sink, black-out curtains and its own private back deck...the perfect spot for morning coffee or a glass of wine at sunset and stargazing after dark. The 2nd upstairs bedroom has a new queen bed, 42 in TV, private vanity with sink, black-out curtains and a view of the community pool. The new living room couch (downstairs) pulls out to a queen bed, so with room to sleep 6 comfortably, the Peaceful Paradise is ideal for families and couples.
When you need to escape the rain, family games, books, playing cards and coloring books are included. To make your beach days easier, beach towels, backpack beach chairs, a beach tent and beach toys are provided. There is also a pack'n'play, baby gate and baby bumpo seat with a tray for your convenience and a new yoga mat if needed.
Adventure and relaxation await at this Peaceful Paradise. There is truly something for everyone whether you are looking for quiet downtime to recharge or want to explore to your heart's content. Summary: The condo is nestled away in a quiet neighborhood off the main road and is in a perfect location that puts you close to local food and shops as well as the beach.The condo is incredibly clean and well stocked. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. There are plenty of pillows and blankets for everyone. The towels were super fluffy and a nice object to wrap up in after showering from a long day at the beach. The best feature is the back patio. It feels like a small vacation in itself. Everything was perfect about this location and we would definitely stay here again.

Summary: Stayed here when I was in town for work and brought my dogs! This place was super clean and comfy! Loved the big kitchen table so my coworker and I could work together during the day as well as a work station with an extra monitor! Nice sidewalks and trails to walk the dogs about 5 min from the beach! We will be back!!

Summary: Centrally located older, but well cared for townhome. Bedrooms on 2nd floor with "Jack and Jill" bathroom and half bath on main level. Host thoughtfully equipped and stocked with paper goods, toiletries, bottles of water, and ground coffee. She even provided a gift card to a local bagel cafe (Sandy Bottoms Bagels). Beds were extremely comfortable and the unit was spotless! We had no issues checking in or out. Very easy! Also, communication via email was immediate.

Summary: Host made the entire stay possible in challenging Hurricane Helene times! Place was very well equipped with many extra towels, beach chairs, water in the refrig, beach towels... Beyond that we so appreciated all of the information they left there for us, from exactly how to work the TV to brochures about the area.

Summary: This place was the perfect location for a couple beach options, restaurants, and shopping. The bikes were perfect as well for us to utilize to nearby locations. The host was very detail oriented and we were really appreciative. From complimentary coffee/tea to keepsake SSI stickers for souvenirs. The beds were comfortable and the bath towels were exceptional. We had an issue figuring out the nest thermostat and with the door keypad but the host was quick to respond. We like to travel to new locations but if we find ourselves back at SSI we will definitely try to stay here!
