Positive: This is a comfortable mid-range hotel on the edge of Saintes town centre; shops, restaurants and the cathedral are all 5 to 10 minutes' walk. The rooms are comfortable and clean; staff were very friendly and breakfast was good value.

Positive: Comfortable hotel in the centre of Saintes with friendly and welcoming staff. Secure covered bicycle storage in the hotel's garage. Good buffet breakfast with a wide choice. Very good value for money hotel close to the Charente River long-distance cycle route and only a 10 minute cycle to the train station. Close to restaurants the hotel is thoroughly recommended for a stay in Saintes.

Negative: Nothing to dislike but it is worth noting that check-in closes at 21.00 hours.
