Positive: The house was in a lovely rural area and tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Although we didn't use it there was a separate games room (with pool table) which would be lovely for children. Good size house that fitted 6 (2 adults and 4 children) of us in nicely. The owners also left a welcome pack with scones, cream and jam which was a lovely touch.
Negative: When we arrived it was dark and it would have been helpful to have outside lighting as we couldn't see anything. However, we used our phone torches so didn't bother us.
Summary: Beautiful house, set in a wonderful location. Friendly hosts and knowledgeable about the area

Positive: An absolutely great place to stay for our long weekend in Dartmoor. We were met with a friendly welcome by the owners, and some yummy treats. Really well located, there was so much to do very close by. The views were stunning, both inside and out - we loved having a coffee or a beer on the terrace, overlooking beautiful gardens and Yes Tor, which were also framed in the living room and bedroom windows. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well-equipped. All in all a fantastic place to stay.

Positive: Every thing even though there is a main =road behind the property it is only heard and cannot be seen the gardens are beautiful and well maintained. The host was very polite and very helpful and nothing seemed to much trouble.

Positive: Everything, absolutely fantastic place to stay, hosts are friendly and welcoming. Cream tea was left for us on arrival, duck eggs also. Could not praise it more, lovely comfortable stay.

Positive: Brokan is a beautiful little cottage in a picturesque setting well positioned for both the north and south coast. It is located on the edge of Dartmoor. The cottage is very clean with comfy beds and lounge. The games room with pool table and table football.
