Positive: I really liked this cottage — we felt at home there. The host was very helpful and helped us get oriented in the area, recommending many places that we hadn’t planned to visit, for which we are very grateful. We stayed for five days at the end of September and the beginning of October, and we were lucky to see snow. We got to see what Žabljak looks like both in autumn and in winter.
Negative: There were not enough bath towels.

Positive: Cosy little cabin with a wonderful woodburner to keep yourself warm in the evenings. The cabin is nicely furnished and even had a washing machine to do any needed laundry. It's located on a quiet road so it'd very peaceful and has a lovely view of the surrounding mountains.

Positive: We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly kind, hospitable, and responsive, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He also gave us excellent recommendations for local restaurants and beautiful hikes. The location was perfect—close to town but still quiet and peaceful, with stunning views of the mountains. The cabin itself was clean, comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed. While the roads in Montenegro can be a bit rough, we had no trouble getting around in a small car. Highly recommend!

Positive: The brown cabin is the perfect accommodation if you are looking for a good central location, a nice host who gives tips for activities in the area. The house was clean, tidy and cozy! Everything you need for a nice stay!

Positive: The cottage is located in a quiet part. Its greatest advantage is its great distance from neighbors. You can feel like in the countryside with a beautiful view of the mountains. The cottage is new and very clean. Downstairs there is a large living room with a small kitchen and bathroom, upstairs there are two bedrooms. a big plus are also mosquito nets in the windows. The host is very nice and provides help and guidance. He can help organize rafting, canyoning and other activities. We did not use, but you can ask before you arrive. From the neighbor you can buy delicious fresh milk, cheese, eggs (ask the host).
Negative: The house will still be upgraded. We were missing towel hooks in the bathroom, deck chairs to enjoy the mountain views comfortably next to the cottage, and some sort of dresser/cabinet in the living room. Wifi is ok, but this is a rural area, so sometimes it is slower. The access road to the cottage is a gravel road and is steep at first.

Positive: We had a fantastic stay at Brown Cabin. The owner, Miko, was super friendly and helpful and was there on our arrival to greet us with drinks and snacks. He recommended lots of things for us to do in the local area and was always available via WhatsApp to answer any questions. The cabin is in a fairly secluded spot, with amazing views, but just a short drive (or about 20 mins walk) from town, which has all you need in terms of restaurants, supermarket, activity companies, etc. The cabin was very clean and well equipped - we found the washing machine useful. We loved using the BBQ and fire pit and watching the cows as they made their way past every morning and evening.

Positive: The Brown cabin was a great place to stay in Durmitor. Perfect for 4 people, everything was equipped, there was even an outdoor grill and fire pit. The cabin is secluded, surrounded by pastures, yet Zabljak is within easy reach. Miko was the perfect host, gave us recommendations for hikes, shopping, travel, ... Beautiful holiday, we are already looking forward to the next time.
