Negative: No eggs at breakfast. The addition of egg as an option for breakfast would make the breakfast more appealing to international travellers.

Positive: The room was spacious. Refill of coffee and water on a daily basis. Bathroom was also cleaned daily. The owner was very generous and allowed me to use their washing machine. I was really appreciative of this kindness! The other front desk assistants were also friendly and helpful. The location was excellent as it was a 10 minute walk to Sangmu train station (exits 5 and 6). Many interesting and mostly affordable restaurants and bars in the vicinity.

Negative: The breakfast seemed lacking. Expected more in terms of a traditional Korean breakfast. The carpets in the hallways were visibly dirty and stained. There was a general stale smell in the hallways (perhaps a mixture of no air conditioning in those areas of the hotel, the humidity at the time and air pollution in Gwangju).
