Summary: Nice budget hotel near downtown Bryan. Room was clean but in need of an update. Bed was very hard. I had read the review about bed bugs and checked. There were none. If they upgraded the mattresses and gave the property a spruce up, I think it would be much nicer. We ended up not staying the one night due to hardness of the mattress.

Summary: I was hoping Bryan Inn was a unique diamond in the rough. It’s not. It wasn’t expensive but it was dirty. Tub was grimy, towels were old/stained, comforter is beat (fuzzies), and the whole room just wasn’t cleaned. It needs to be deep cleaned, patched up and repainted at least. It was gross, my wife certainly wouldn’t have stayed there. I was hoping to chat about it at checkout, but when I walked in their office was in the same condition. It wasn’t worth bringing it up IMO. It looks like someone used to clean, but whoever is in charge now doesn’t look at the details. When you see this type of neglect, it makes you wonder what else they didn’t do??? Did they change the sheets? Did they disinfect the sink, toilet and other hard surfaces? What else have they missed, that we take for granted in hotels that do cleaning well?! To me, the cleanliness of your motel is cheap advertising. If your place is clean, people will say so and return. We won’t be returning, I’ll pay $20 more and stay at the better place.

Summary: This place was by far one of the best smaller motels that I have stayed at. Rooms are nice and where way larger than expected. Best part of the stay was the lady that manages the place. She was always helpful when you needed something and best of all was a blast to talk with every time. If I every have to get a room in the area again this will be the place I'd pick. Had a much better experience here than at the ones over in holiday city.
