Summary: The Hut provided the perfect backdrop for a wonderful summer weekend at the lake, celebrating a 40th birthday with family and friends. Mike and Kelly have gone above and beyond to provide a fully stocked home better than any rental we have ever stayed in. From high end pans and appliances for our dinners in, to a fully furnished bar ready for the best bartenders. The little touches like high end toiletries, Wireless charging, TVs in every room and a fantastic selection of vinyl made for memorable evenings. The recently added tiki hut was a source of great views and nights under the stars. We could not have imagined a better home away from home and will be returning soon!

Summary: We had our family in to enjoy a late holiday gathering. Our grandchildren loved the Nintendo Wii and the board games. My husband is a runner and got to enjoy the bike path - even in the cold weather! I spent my time by the fireplace watching the views of the water and listening to vinyl records supplied by the hosts - the layout is spectacular for all ages. The gourmet kitchen had more than enough supplies to make our annual feast. Mike and Kelly even put out a bottle of wine from the local winery. When the sun went down we put on the lower level fireplace and made cocktails in the bar while everyone played pool. We cannot wait to get back to this place and have already booked a summer trip here. Thank you Mike and Kelly for being so gracious and detail oriented. The place was spotless!

Summary: From the moment we drove up, we absolutely knew we made the right decision choosing The Hut for our stay at Buckeye Lake! We walked in the house and were in awe at the attention to detail that immediately put you in a lake state of mind. Mike and Kelly have thought of everything you could possibly need for a cozy yet elegant vacation home. From the paint colors to the decor, they have totally nailed what lake living is all about. We were thrilled knowing this would be home for a couple of days. We started exploring the bottom floor and saw that the living area had comfortable seating with a nice bigscreen TV and fireplace. Next we ventured into the bar and billiard room. Super cool space and we enjoyed spending some time there in the evenings playing some pool. We headed upstairs and were absolutely blown away! The wall of windows make it so no matter where you are in the living room, dining room or kitchen, you have a spectacular, wide open view of the lake. Like the downstairs living area, the upstairs living area is perfectly decorated and has lots of comfortable seating to cozy up by the fireplace and read a book, watch the bigscreen TV, or just sit with a glass of wine and stare at the incredible views in front of you. The gourmet kitchen was very well equipped with everything we could possibly need, including a very nice selection of coffee. We were also very excited about the Margaritaville Frozen Concoction Maker and the fact that there was plenty of ice to whip up some cocktails! We felt like we were living the life of Jimmy Buffett. All the bedrooms upstairs and downstairs had extremely comfortable beds and luxury bedding, and the bathrooms were clean, spacious and well-stocked. Outside, there were plenty of chairs to sit and watch the sun rise over the lake each morning while drinking our coffee, and then again out by the firepit at night with a cocktail as the sun set. We also loved the bike path right outside the house that goes on forever around the lake and provides easy access to some of the great nearby food and music venues. A bonus was the pair of Margaritaville bicycles that we had access to use. Everything about the house and the location was 5-star. And just as important, Mike and Kelly were wonderful hosts. They responded extremely quickly to any questions we had and provided us with tons of recommendations for the area. This will be the only place we will stay whenever we take a trip to Buckeye Lake.

Summary: This house is absolutely gorgeous. Exceptionally clean. Amenities are top notch. SO. MUCH. SPACE. Windows overlooking the lake are a dream. Location is amazing. Can literally walk down the bike path & enjoy an entire evening of entertainment then come back & enjoy the entertainment the hosts have provided! Our fav was the Margaritaville Bikes! Such a cool add on for the guests. We will be back!!

Summary: This home was amazing. I needed a place to stop over while traveling. The Host was attentive and communicated quickly. The home is beautiful and immaculate. Views of Buckeye Lake are off the charts good. I will definitely book this property again in the future. I got there with just enough daylight to take a nice walk on the bike path that runs next to the lake. Little extras like the soaps were a nice plus. The selection of Coffee and Tea was even better. Thanks for a great stay.
