Buddy's Harbor Resort & Marina (formerly Ozark Village Resort) builds on the old-school roots of the venue's past to deliver a whole new resort experience in keeping with the Lake Ozark traditions. Located at Mile Marker 2 at the south west end of McCoy Cove, 1062 Susan Road, Lake Ozark Missouri 65049. Each of the classic rooms at Buddy's Harbor Resort and Marina includes a kitchenette with 2-burner stovetop, refrigerator, and microwave. They are equipped with cable TV and free Wi-Fi. Guests can rent boats and jet-skis from our marina or dock their own at the covered boat dock with access to our super easy launch ramp. Wide variety of water toys and water trampoline available for use as well as picnic tables and barbecue facilities are located on the property. Other amenities include lakefront pool, a natural beach, as well as a large game room with billiard tables and games. Positive: 100/10 WOULD RECOMMEND!!!!BEST STAY, SUPER CLEAN, HANDS ON/FRIENDLY OWNERS, EASY CHECK IN, KID FRIENDLY, FOOD, POOL, ADULT BEVERAGES ALL ON SITE! If you'd like specifics, just continue reading.... Check in was incredibly easy. We were given our cabin, boat slip and trailer parking numbers via text message hours before arrival. The site map was up to date making it easy to find all the spaces. We dropped the boat in first thing, and while parking the trailer, we were met by the owner. I was practicing backing the boat trailer up. Let's just say it took me a minute. He waited patiently talking to my boyfriend as I successfully parked it, in only 4 "resets" He called me by my name, (I booked the room) he introduced himself, and asked if we were finding everything ok, or if we needed any help. We said we were good, thanked him for the effortless check in. Our cabin was very clean, had a comfortable bed, with 4 pillows (2 soft, 2 firm) towels were fluffy, hot water was hot. We had an issue being unable to connect to WiFi. I took a chance and texted the number that sent my details. To my surprise, I received a text rather promptly, informing me, they reset the routers and had tech support on the phone and they were coming out the following morning and apologized for the inconvenience. When I awoke, WiFi was working great. I didn't try the food, at either place, or the pool. But the menus looked great, people were eating and having drinks, nobody was loud or obnoxious. The pool was crystal clear, it's re balanced with chemicals and vacuumed every night. If you've read this far, I hope you consider this place for your next getaway. It's family friendly, they have some type of water "activity" going into the lake that floats, coming sometime this month. 100/10 would recommend. We do several tournaments every year, and will be returning here for every one.

Positive: Buddy's has its own "small community" atmosphere. It has all of the amenities that we were looking for. Very friendly staff. Our room is exactly what we anticipated. We immediately booked Memorial weekend when we got home from our 4/25-4/26 visit. This is an amazing facility, all the way around. I wish them all the success in the coming years. --Stacy Eastwood

It was so quiet and so perfect we decorated the cabin for Christmas and had family come over to enjoy the lake while we grilled and while it being 50° outside ! We fished on the dock and we played Christmas music! 😁 It was everything we wanted, literally in our backyard! The owners are kind, funny and helpful I
Negative: There wasn't many things that I didn't like. There wasn't any shampoo. But I know we were early! There wasn't many comfortable places to sit, nor were there dressers to place our clothes.

Positive: People were nice. The grounds were ok. The pizza and hamburger and fries we had were good. The bed was comfortable. The place was clean.
Negative: Not really what you'd call a "resort". We couldn't park where we were supposed to due to a "broken down" truck in the way. Everything shut down before its scheduled time except the lounge. No vending machines for beverages. Our TV didn't work. I called after the office closed at 5:00. I called the after-hours number, but no one came until halfway through the next morning to fix it. No coffee for the coffee maker and the convenience store closed before posted closing time, so we were unable to have coffee for the morning. Maybe all these things happened because it was Friday the 13th? We left a day early and went to another resort and just ate the cost of that 2nd night at Buddy's.
