Positive: Very clean and well appointed. Small galley kitchen and dining area, but with 2 doors to a balcony with fantastic views over the river and town. Bedrooms are large and comfortable, and lockable for valuables. Parking is on the street outside, but easy. Host left us some nice treats and was very helpful. This has to be one of the best parts of the valley, being right on the confluence of two rivers. It really is extremely scenic. The village is very small, but there are a couple of small markets and several restaurants within a 10-15 min walk over the bridge, and a tiny cash only place almost next door. We visited very off peak, so it was gloriously sleepy in the whole area.
Negative: Not a lot. Would be good if there was salt and pepper, and we couldn't find anything to dry the dishes. But these are really tiny niggles.

Positive: The VIEW, the beds, the patio overlooking the river and bridge was beyond our expectations. Loved this apartment!
Negative: Challenge to get taxi or uber rides. Was so relaxing to be out in this quant small town though.
Summary: Just wanted to sit & stare at the view day & night. Apartment was fabulous! So relaxing and quiet.

Positive: Beautiful location on Tamega river - at entrance to Duoro. Not too far upstream (great if you are not sure whether you want to spend too much time in a more remote location). Apartment is newly renovated, homely and spotlessly clean. Vera was attentive. We could not have asked for more. Would definitely come back.
