Positive: Trish is a friendly and very accommodating host. The house is spacious yet cosy in a fab location with everything you need. Very private. It was a perfect base for touring and also a lovely spot to chill on quiet days and enjoy the beautiful surroundings and scenery.

Positive: Beautiful and very spacious house with an amazing view ; the rooms are huge, clean and comfortable, and our lovely host provided us with breakfast essentials which is very thoughtful.
Negative: It would be helpful to have written instructions for the appliances ; and some chairs for the garden would be a plus ! The place is so gorgeous and peaceful you'd like to enjoy it as much as possible.

Positive: Beautiful home in a quiet location, just 2 minute drive to Kilfenora village. Very clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. Trish is a fantastic host who has thought of everything. Providing the lovely welcome essentials (bread, milk, cereal, juice) was so thoughtful and welcoming as we arrived in the evening. We didn't want to leave!

Positive: This was a self-contained house and we managed all of own meals. Owner Trisha, however, thoughtfully provided some essentials to start us off -eggs, milk, cereal, bread, butter, jam, little treats and more. So much appreciated! The house itself was spotless, comfortable, with spectacular views from every window, and lots of interior privacy with spacious rooms.
Negative: Two very small suggestions: some of the interior doorknobs are extremely hard to turn and could present a hazard in an emergency situation. Also it would be helpful to have written instructions for the appliances. In every other way, this is a perfect property with privacy, magnificent views, lovely local walks including to the charming town of Kilfenora, and a central location for the beauties of County Clare.
Summary: We simply loved Burrowlodge for our three generation family of six that includes two teenagers!
