Positive: The property was so spacious for our large family of 6. Clean and warm and parking right outside which was super easy for carrying a sleeping toddler. We had only one issue which was fixed within 5 mins. The boiler had turned off, we called Alan and he cane within 3 mins and all sorted. We loved the character of the property and children loved the low windows to read a book. We look forward to booking this property again, perfect when visiting my family in Whitby. Thanks for a lively welcome and stay x

Positive: We travelled as a group of six and booked two adjacent properties. There was plenty of room in the kitchen/dining area to eat and socialise. Views are great and the farm itself of architectural interest. Location superb for cycling and walking. Close to the Cinder Track which is a nice cycle into Robin Hoods Bay and Whitby.
Negative: Some reviews worried us. These were either exaggerated- complaints about toilet rolls or cobwebs- or the owners had acted upon the feedback. We were extremely happy with the cleanliness and value for money of the cottages.
Summary: Quiet rural retreat. Beautiful in Autumn.

Positive: Everything about this cottage was fabulous! Comfortable, spacious, wonderful hosts. And the location was fantastic! Beautiful old barn conversion in a delightful courtyard with spectacular views. Lots of lovely walks, especially the walk down to Robin Hood’s Bay or Boggle Hole for the beach. We had a lovely holiday, thankyou, and will be coming back!
