Positive: We loved our stay in Menaggio. Ksenia was really helpful and the property is so special. Great view of the lake. The pool was perfect size for our small kids and we had all the facilities we needed.

Negative: Not about the property but we did struggle to park in Menaggio sometimes. Obviously this isn’t a criticism of the property which is why we have given it full marks. But it should be borne in mind that it isn’t always easy at the peak season (we came straight after Ferragosto)

Positive: It was located on a hill with a beautiful view of Como Lake from Menaggio. The house was spacious, and the hostess was helpful and offered useful information. Everything (appliances, heating, etc.) worked at the house. We were able to park the two cars in the driveway, which was quite helpful (as we were 7 people). You definitely need a car there, since the house is about 20-30 min from the centre of town by walking, and there is no public transport (at least that I saw), and very few taxis or Ubers.

Negative: A minor thing: more than one set of keys would have been good. Also, a few extra blankets for those that like to sleep with them when it's cold (the heating did work fine, though).

Summary: A lovely house with nice views of Como Lake on the Menaggio hills

Positive: The location is stunning. Ksenia is lovely and was always very willing to respond to any questións. I had my 60th there with 9 adults and it was very comfortable. Waking up each morning to the most beautiful views as well as having lunch with that back drop was great.

Negative: You need a car to get to a supermarket or restaurant.

Positive: Everything was wonderful. Just as described. Couldn't ask for a better view for morning coffee and evening wine. Comfortable beds. The rooms were equal in size with the two masters and private bathrooms. Perfect villa for our two families.

Negative: There's nothing I didn't like. One thing that may be helpful for people to know is the walk to town is challenging. We're active people and did it once and decided to drive or taxi it the rest of the trip. But not a bad tradeoff for the views we had from the villa.

Summary: Just as described. Incredible views, comfortable and clean, quiet neighborhood. Perfection.
