Summary: We had the family lodge. It was charming, clean and had a kitchen. Argelia contacted us the day before we arrived and organized transportation to the hotel from the train. She also helped with tours, taxis and discovering the area. She was wonderful.

Summary: The room was clean, but very cold-despite a gas fireplace. Overpriced breakfast for guests, which is not ok. I stayed two nights and paid for coffee and an omlet more than on El Chepe for the meal

Summary: This was a great place to spend a couple of nights while waiting for the El Chepe connecting train to Creel. The staff were great and picked us up from the train station without pre arrangement. The rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. We did have issues with the toilet not flushing properly and the shower was a bit hit and miss as well, but they were minor things and wouldn’t stop us returning. The restaurant serves good home cooked meals and nothing is a problem for the staff. They can organise tours of the area although most things are within walking distance if you feel like exploring yourself.
