Summary: The cabin was perfect for our family of 4 to get away for a weekend. The sauna was easy to start and use and HOT even on a -30 degree weekend, it was a nice bonus. Once the cabin was hot it was easy to maintain a good temp, recommend taking slippers on a super cold weekend for the first 12 hours the floors are cold. Lots of wood available and right by door for easy loading into cabin. Beds and cabin were clean. Lots of room to relax and play games inside. Outhouse was clean, only thing was there wasn’t a trail plowed or shovelled to it so we had to do that, rest of yard was plowed nicely for easy turn around and parking. Nice location, easy to find and easy check in. Very responsive And helpful host

Summary: We stayed at Rochelle's cabin for two full days and had a good time. The weather wasn't the best, but we were about to go canoeing - the surroundings and the lakes are nice. The sauna is just awesome, we were looking for a proper Finnish wood sauna, there you go.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay, so much we didnt want to leave. So peaceful & so much space to enjoy. The only thing i wasn't impressed to find was the outhouse toilet & bench was covered in crap, which repulsed me to no end!! That is what lost one star.

Summary: It was very basic and the washroom was quite far from the house. It had a lot of great supplies but could sure use a good cleaning. Was very cozy once we got settled.

Summary: Quiet country environment in a rustic cabin for a recovery weekend. Exactly what we needed for final days with our dearly beloved senior dog. The cabin had everything we needed for meals, sheets were clean, and the owner made a great recommendation for a beach we could get to with our doggo. He really enjoyed the sniffs and the deer head he found while on walkies. And we made good use of the grass yard for naps and the firepit.

Summary: The sauna was a fun added touch. Lakes are close by and lots to explore. The host stopped communicating when I expressed some concerns.
