Fisherman’s Bend is the ideal fishing or hunting cabin of for those who just want to get away and retreat to nature. It is a beautifully renovated cabin on the North Fork and Wilson Rivers. Outdoors Features a fenced yard, private hot tub and a fire pit! The walls of the cabin are knotty Pine wood with a light stain, giving the cabin a warm cozy feel. The floors are inlaid tile, which is nice for easy clean up. No need to worry about your shoes.
The bedroom has a queen bed with south western styled bedding and unique hand-made leather curtains. The bedroom also has an entertainment center perfect for relaxing on movie night.
The living room has a brand new leather couch with queen size sofa sleeper that match the south western/country decor. The living area is an open space, perfect for gathering around at mealtime or game time!
There has been plenty of thought given to entertainment, with the 3 flat screen televisions, 1 of which is 70+ inches. There is even one in the bathroom that can be seen from the shower, so you won't miss any part of the game! This bathroom has a heated jetted tub. The shower has dual body sprayers as well as the standard shower head, to take off the cold chill after a long day of fishing.
There is a river view from the yard and you would travel about 60 feet to reach the river bank for skipping rocks or fishing for the perfect catch access in close by. This home has a trail along the back of the yard that leads to the North Fork river.
This home has a 4 horse paddock and pasture for your use. Ride off the property or haul to the beach.
Last year there was a house fire at a property at the very end of the street. That house is being rebuilt. There is limited noise as construction near completion.

Summary: The pictures really don't do it justice. It was perfect for a weekend getaway. The river is literally just steps away. My husband even caught a good sized cutthroat trout. We're looking forward to coming back this summer.

Summary: Location was close to the river and good for fishing. Inside home was clean and had everything you would need. The outside area was pretty overran with stuff and was not scenic. Multiple houses clumped in one area and not private or quiet. The nonstop barking from the owners dogs was awful. Woke us up very early each morning and barked all day long until they were put up at night. Also having to do our own laundry while on vacation and after paying a cleaning fee is ridiculous. Starting a load of laundry is to be expected but having to wash and dry all towels before leaving is very inconvenient. You have to wake up extra early if you want to take a shower or I guess bring your own towels from home. I would not stay here and would not recommend it to others.

Summary: A beautiful home next to a beautiful river. The hot tub was fantastic and the fishing right next door was super convenient! The house is located across the dirt road from the river, but the view is now partially blocked by a new structure that someone is building. The walkway to the side parking and the boarding going out the front door gets extremely slippery in the rainy months, so much so that my husband slipped and fell on the boarding. During the fishing season it looks like the neighbor uses crab pots, so those were a little smelly occasionally. We are used to it, but others may not be. The neighbor's dogs woke us up in the morning, but after it was mentioned to him, he was very kind and apologized and it never happened again. The adjustable lighting was very nice, and there is a light switch right next to the bed to turn off the overhead lights. The bedroom has about a foot of space along each side of the bed, so you have to slide your way along the wall to get to your side of the bed. Overall, we'd stay here again. It was a lovely place to relax and do some fishing.

Summary: Very nice, had everything we needed for a couple day stay. Quiet area and friendly neighbors. We went for a quiet get away, but would be a perfect location for fishermen so close to the river.

Summary: The cabin itself was fairly nice and has good furnishings. However, the property has 4 houses total, and the home next to this cabin had a severe fire at some point recently. I assume they are waiting on insurance and other legalities, but we had no communication about this prior to arriving, so it was disconcerting to drive up to see a burned out home next to where we stayed. The trail mentioned in the listing goes behind the cabin and then next to this home. The property owner was using machinery to load dirt Sat evening from 6-9pm across the driveway, and we had someone enter the cabin's fenced-in area we did not invite. It was not a relaxing stay.

Summary: Accommodations was great. Cabin was excellent for our stay. Close to everything we had an interest in doing. The river side was pleasant. A public access road within walking distance made for a pleasant quite place to exercise and enjoy a private walk in a wooded area with our dog. a return stay when we come back to Tillamook.

Summary: Absolutely was the perfect spot for our honeymoon! It is on a property with a couple other VRBO rentals but still provided the remote feeling we were looking for. Nestled among surrounding wooded hills on all sides with a super short walk down to the river it really was perfect and the hot tub was 👌 Met Pete, the property owner and he took us on a short walk up a trail offering some old timer stories about his life and the property ❤️ we enjoyed everything so much. We definitely will be back😊
