This cabin is on a very quiet street directly on a cove of Lake Hartwell. The lake is about 100 feet from the deck of the cabin, a lovely spot to sit and enjoy the serenity of the woods. There are hiking trails within walking distance, a horse farm and of course a lake to cool you down on a hot summer afternoon! There is no dock with this property; however, it’s a gentle slope into the lake on the cove.
The "beach" is a 10 minute walk from the cabin where you can take the kids for easy access to the water or swim right in the cove. From the cabin you continue to the right down to the end of Tranquility Lane and then take the footpath about 100 yards down to the lake. This is a very easy walk with no hills and I provide a pull cart for whatever you might like to take with you.
This cabin is Ideal for 4 people and that is how it is priced; however, with an air mattress provided it will accommodate up to 6 people. I charge $50/person/night over 4 people.
We have a pet fee for dogs. $90/stay for 1 or 2 dogs and $180/stay for 3 dogs. 3 is the maximum number of dogs allowed.
If you need to wash clothes there is a washer and dryer for your convenience. Please be aware that this property is on a community well and at times the iron in the water will cause stains especially on light colored or white clothes.

Summary: Place was turnkey, everything you would need is there. Very clean and relaxing atmosphere. Wish we had more time at the cabin during our week stay, but our plans kept us away. Definitely one of the best cabins we have stayed at. A return trip where we can just enjoy the cabin is in our future.

Summary: Great location, close to Hartwell and about 30 mins from Senaca. The cabin is well maintained. Located in a quiet location. The neighbors are very friendly along with the host. Pictures don’t the cabin just. The cabin is a little dated but everything is well maintained. John has thought of every little detail to make your stay more comfortable. There was fire wood for the fire pit and charcoal for the grill. Would definitely book this cabin again.

Summary: This was a cute little cabin nestled in the woods on a cove. It was perfect for me and my husband. I was able to float in my raft all day without being disturbed by any lake traffic! The pictures and description the owner gives are accurate. There is no dock, but you can get in the water very easily. The layout of the cabin is nice. The main living area is open and spacious. The bedrooms are small, but the beds are really comfortable. I slept better than I have in years! John is a great host and we would definitely go back.
