Positive: This little cabin was just right! My husband and I were very comfortable. It was chilly, so we did not spend much time on the porch. However, it would be a nice space to sit and enjoy coffee in the morning! A very welcoming place for our pup as well, with a Doggie door and fenced in area!
Negative: The road leading to the cabin is a little tricky, but once you arrive you are in a nice little wooded area!
Summary: Lovely little cabin! The hosts thought of everything!

Positive: We loved the cabin. We were visiting our son and his family for an early Thanksgiving/Christmas. We were able to cook a wonderful family meal including a turkey. They had almost everything we needed! Beds were comfy, although if you like really soft sheets, bring your own. They didn't bother us, but they had kinda a rough texture. The view was amazing! And they're so dog friendly there's even a food and water bowl so you don't have to bring yours! Very nice place.
Negative: My only sorta complaint is that when booking the place I didn't see the part where you absolutely must have a 4 wheel drive to get there. It was in the FAQs which we saw after the fact. We received a welcome email the day before leaving and had to scramble a bit to spend an extra $400 on a rental car for the 3 days, but thankfully it worked out. I just think that should be in big bold capital letters at the top of the rental listing so that it is painfully obvious. It was fun driving it though and fortunately it all worked out. Absolutely have a 4 wheel drive though.
Summary: DEFINITELY HAVE A 4 WHEEL DRIVE!!! Beautiful place.

Positive: Great, cozy and pleasant. Beautiful location and conveniently stocked with kitchen utensils and appliances. Board games and puzzles were a nice touch. We didn't test it out ourselves but the cabin seems very pet-friendly as well (pet door, food & drink bowls). Beautiful covered deck makes for wonderful breakfasts.
Negative: If I have to nitpick - location a bit isolated, 20-30 minutes to the nearest groceries and shopping (although beautiful, nested within a forest). Kitchen a bit small but has everything you need.

Positive: Amazing location, easy access to all of the points of interest: Shenandoah trails and caverns. Beautiful little house with two ideal size bedrooms, great living room, slightly small kitchen, and two amazing decks, one open and one with great mosquito nets walls and a roof. Lovely grounds with a fire pit in the woods, very private and comfortable.
Negative: Slightly small kitchen if you want to cook, no kettle, and not too many cooking pots. Could have a regular coffee maker instead of the capsule one. Also, coming from Europe, we canโ€™t get used to the plastic cups, instead of regular china๐Ÿ˜…
Summary: We loved it and absolutely recommend it to everybody. Just remember to drive a 4WD to get to the house!
