CABINS ON HALLS ARE FULLY SELF-CONTAINED RUSTIC CABINS NESTLED IN THE HEART OF THE POKOLBIN REGION OF THE HUNTER VALLEY. In collaboration with Harkham Estate who has recently acquired the property each guest staying at the cabins gets to indulge in a complimentary wine tasting and to dine in the newly opened Restaurant within minutes walking distance from the cabins to the winery making it the perfect stay. Our cabins are located on 50 acres surrounded by bushland and are the perfect stay for nature lovers. With daily visits from kangaroos, local birdlife and the sounds of nature to help you leave the worries of the city behind. Each cabin is named after a native Australian bush plant connecting you to the land and its natural inhabitants. Cabins on Halls is just 5 minutes’ drive from the Hunter Valley Cheese Company and Hunter Valley Gardens. Newcastle Airport is a 70-minute drive away. Each cabin has air-conditioning and a spacious seating area with a TV and DVD player. A full kitchen with a microwave and refrigerator is standard in all cabins. Positive: Fabulous quiet location, but close enough to a couple of exceptional restaurants and cellar doors. Spacious cabin with everything you need! Great communications and service from Brooke, we’ve stayed here before and we will definitely be back!

Positive: Location for our concert at Roche Estate, staff were very helpful. Restaurant on property was exceptional.
Negative: No coffee machine supplied as said in description, nights were cool and only 1 spare blanket for 2 queen beds. Water pressure was intermittent and stopped completely for a couple of hours. Rang maintenance but water had righted itself by morning. Cabins could do with a bit of TLC and then they would be perfect.

Positive: Older cabins but very comfortable and well appointed. Great location, private and quiet with kangaroos often seen. Short walk to Harkhams for a complimentary wine tasting. We didn’t try their restaurant however the location and view from it looks great.

Positive: The location is perfect. The property is spacious
Negative: Old and outdated. The beds have no support left, and I woke with a sore back, that was the worst part, not being able to sleep well.. Carpets are so old and the cabins are falling apart, there is dire need for maintenance. There is no updated tech, so everything is very basic, no WiFi or smart TV, not the worst thing but makes a bit hard to entertain a little one. The bathroom is old, poor shower head with a shower curtain that's been there for a long time. The spot itself is lovely and has huge potential, but the place is just run down and neglected.

Positive: Day 1 free breakfast provided,. Wild kangaroos roam around the plantation in front of our cottage and they do not come close to us, give us a good safety distance to view them. Cottage to cottage distance is good giving us privacy.
