Positive: I am extremely grateful to the owner. I was stranded an hour's drive from the hotel because of the rain. He came to pick me up. In addition, the place is perfect and the beds are very comfortable.

Negative: Other than the weather letting it down, not much. It's a rustic cabin in a village in rural North Thailand, so it isn't 100% weather or insect proof, but if you're prepared for that, it's fine.

Positive: The owners are really nice. Good to speak to the father who is a nice guy, good location (if you have a scooter), and nice chic style accommodation
Negative: I got REALLY bad bed bugs from the cabin. I left a day earlier than planned because of this. I have deep bites all across my body, even using the mosquito net on the bed. There are holes in the floorboards that I guess bugs and spiders can crawl up through, and I have some of the worse bites I’ve ever had. Cabin isn’t sealed, so there’s no aircon only fans. Very hot during the day/night.
Summary: Bed Bugs are a negative * everything else good

Positive: Super nice family. Even there is no breakfast for the doorm booking included, she made some noodles and an egg for me! The son had realy good tips for the surrounding. And know a lot about the background of the region. It's a realy relaxing vibe and such a nice green backyard to calm down. Thanks for the great time, realy enjoyed it! :)

Positive: Stopped here on the Mae Hong Song loop. Adorable garden with different seating areas and friendly staff. Made a killer coffee in the morning! Comfy beds.
Negative: Kind of funny all sleeping on the same floor divided by tiny wooden walls, but that wasn't much of an issue as everyone was in the same boat. Kinda far from the center but if you're here you probably have a motorcycle so that's not an issue.
