Summary: Property owner is very friendly and wide open to help, when needed, the house is very comfortable and cozy, good accessibility and distribution. We found that farm animals are too close to the house so flies are disgusting, farm dogs are totally loose thru the farm and get inside the house any time they found a open door, we didn't like it. House is with good level of washrooms and kitchen supplies, we recommend to standardize dining cutlery as well a BBQ tools for BBQing. We recommend this house for rural experience, Paulo, many thanks for it

Summary: This place is so tranquil. Off the beaten path but we’ll worth the drive from Lisbon and also close to Sintra. The hosts are accommodating and super friendly. My daughter loves animals and she has been in absolute heaven the last couple of days feeding the goats, sheep, ponies and pigs. This is rural Portugal at its best. Enjoy this little piece of heaven.

Summary: We stayed at this property in March 2022 during a particularly cold time period with a 4 month old and a 2 year old. The house and property would be really great for kids - if we had been able to get the house warm enough for them to sleep. Paolo was very accommodating and even made a fire for us but the house never warmed up and, even though all 4 of us slept in the same room with a space heater on, our kids couldn't sleep. We ended up leaving around 5 AM and lost out on 2 nights of the 3 night stay that we had planned. When we left at 5 AM we found that it was warmer outside than it was in the actual house. We just weren't prepared for those temperatures with small children. We would come back again, but maybe in a summer month instead!

Summary: I gave 5 stars, but I wish I could give 10 STARS!!!! If you looking for a place to relax and conect with nature, look no further... Not only the hosts were able to capture a true Portuguese rural environment, they were the BEST hosts we ever had!!!! I'm already organizing a second stay with them, can't wait to breath the pure air @ the quinta and visit the beach (10 minutes away). Once again, words can't express my gratitude for sharing your home with my family. Paulo, Jayme, Nica and Bruna can't wait to see you guys soon!!!
