Positive: Calanova Sports Residence is conveniently located outside of the busy and noisy downtown but not too far. The residence was clean and its facilities (swimming pool, small public beach with paddle boards and kayak) with the proximity of the marina are a plus. Breakfast was tasty but be aware that it is not a buffet, it is one enhanced toasts with a pastry, a juice and a hot drink only. Multiple shops are nearby and the place is also well deserved by public transports or taxis.
Negative: Our booking was for 2 single beds and 1 extra-large double bed, however the room had only one large double bed and a sofa bed. It is indeed a residence and as such there is not much personnel at site. Because of the same, a confusing on-line check-in system is required, however, the procedure was sent very late (while we were in the plane flying to the island). Luckily someone was still present upon our arrival to handover the keys. The restaurant of the residence is pricy in comparison to what you can find outside.
Summary: Good value, great facilities and conveniently located.

Positive: Very serene location with lots of luxury boats, yachts and water sports. Also there’s a beach just by the side of the hotel. Good food and great restaurants in the hotel. Lots of great views worth the money

Positive: Beds were lovely and comfy and view from our room was great. Restaurants were nice also.Close to Palma (approx 7 mins in a taxi).
Negative: Bathroom door couldn't open when you were in the bathroom as very tight on room. Fridge didn't work effectively, no bin other than bathroom bin, no staff on reception, lots of non residents using the pool, not a particuarly pleasant area to walk around ie. no shops of interest to tourists, definitely felt very residential. Nowhere to get a snack at lunch (other than a pizza), some kind of information on check in would have been good about breakfast, pool opening times etc. Breakfast was menu only and fairly expensive if you just want fruit and yoghurt! Watersports centre again lacked any kind of information and actually sent us off on the wrong end of the SUP!
Summary: Pleasant for a couple of days or if you only want to do water sports.

Positive: Very nice staff, Secure parking on the premises on a good value for having your car serviced. The location is very good, you can almost say it has a private beach. Breakfast is decent and the view of the port is also very convenient.
Negative: When it's noisy in the hotel and or restaurant, especially if you are located in the first rooms, you might be disturbed.

Positive: Fantastic location, our room overlooked the marina and was beautiful. Plenty of restaurants nearby and different beaches within easy walking distance. Beaches were clean and good choice between a bigger beach with lifeguards and a smaller beach with some snorkelling - both about a 10 in walk with a 6 year old. Great to be able to hire paddle boards and kayaks as something included in our stay. Those renting these out were really helpful to get us and our son started. Pool was very clean and sunbeds were always available no matter what time of day we arrived at the pool.

Positive: Wonderful location with a fabulous pool, views and activities!! The free daily paddle boarding and kayak hire was an added bonus! Loads of wonderful restaurants (including Bruno’s downstairs which served the best paella!!) within walking distance, a bus service right outside the door and supermarket just up the road- a perfect holiday destination!!
Negative: One of the nights was pretty noisy with furniture moving from restaurant upstairs was tricky to get to sleep. The air on was also a bit temperamental.
Summary: Perfect location, wonderful views and excellent facilities!!
