Positive: Had a nice short-stay, and were fortunate to be the only once at the property (4? apartments), dogs are welcome too! The outdoor is also very nice with some mandarin trees and the provided breakfast was satisfying.

Negative: Unfortunately the kitchen hood is not connected, so no light and exhaust when cooking! The outside light is switching on automatically and so bright, you are forced to close the blinds at night. The entire apartment has no hooks to hang coats or towels in the bathroom, which could be useful... Mentioned a broken shower head attachment, which got ignored.

Positive: By far we liked the host the most. He was very attentive and resolved every issue that mattered to us. The location was very good for us since the beautiful beach was a 3 minute drive. We loved that there was a pool. Very nice outside area for us with table and chairs on grass and two lounge chairs as well.

Negative: We felt as though it could have been a little cleaner in the bathroom. We wish there was a fuller breakfast, but I guess that was my fault. We found out too late that it said 'Italian breakfast'. I would have liked a few more kicthen things such as bread knife. Not enough toilet paper for a week with four of us. Promoted a grill, but the quality was not good. It has not been maintained.

Summary: We loved it, but need to manage expectations.

Positive: Marco sent me a pin to find the place and was there expecting me when I arrived. The apartment is fully furnished with everything you need for a holiday, Including a washing machine: very useful! You can park the car securely on the premises which is great. There was another family staying in another apartment in the house which was then a little loud in the evenings but not enough to distract from a great stay

Positive: The most welcoming and friendly host I ever encountered. He offered me a ride from the train station to the property late at night upon my arrival. Everything was sterile clean. The flat is fully equipped with everything. Good breakfast.

Negative: Public transportation to Siracusa is not frequent and somewhat slow. Better come with your own car or rent one.

Positive: We were able to check in early. Manuela welcomed us and was very friendly and gave us some information regarding supermarke and some tips. Caledonia relaxis close to the beach and has a little garden where you can have lunch or dinner. There is a substantial amount of products to have breakfast.

Negative: All the furniture was really worn-out, The plastic table cloth was schredded. The freezer was full of ice and had leftovers from previous guests. The area is quite desolate,.. not really a romantic lanscape. Our view was on terrain full of trash and things to catch rat.

Summary: Can do much better even for a moderate price

Positive: It's a quiet place and have a place where to park your car. Pool is great, you will love it. Nearby is a pizzeria and store where you can buy fresh fruits and vegetables.

Negative: There is no more places nearby where you can go by walk. I feel like any walk around is dangerous because of lack of sidewalks. Host is unable to speak in english, but collecting the keys and leaving the property was easy.

Summary: Great place to stay for relax or travel around by car.

Positive: Manuela and Marco are amazing hosts, they are always checking if everything is ok but they are really discrete. The house is amazing, fully furnished, with garden and different kind of trees (bananas, oranges, palms). We enjoyed our stay even with Medicane :) Thank's Marco and Manuela

Negative: The bed is not the most comfortable and the house is quite far away from everything, so, you definitely need a car. But I knew it before I rent, so just change the bed and is definitely a 10.
