Positive: The place is super nicely designed and furnitured, we were amazed by how big the apartement was and overall how spaceious. For us everything was perfect. also the fact that they allowed our little dog free of charge - this is rare nowadays and makes it super sympathetic. The pool area is also great and the spa facilities too.

Negative: There was no real downside we would for sure come again. For us as a couple, there were a bit too many families - especially occupying the pool scene and weirdly going with their children to the Sauna/steam bath - in our eyes this should be from 16+ and furthermore really insist on people using towels in the Sauna - we were the only ones using them (all of this not the Hotels fault) but maybe supplying towels right next to the Sauna could be an idea? Maybe a lot of people have no experience really on how to use one. the other smal mini minus point I would give to the breakfast - I like that they try to reduce waste however it was a little bit disappointing, especially as a vegan besides oat milk there was not much to eat.

Positive: The facility is new, clean and comfortable. There was a kitchenette in the apartment., which was convenient. The receptionists were very friendly and gave us a warm welcome. We enjoyed breakfast as well. There is no charge for our two dogs, which we appreciated it.

Negative: As another guest wrote, the water pressure of shower was very low. We spent only one night, so it wasn’t a big problem though.

Summary: Clean and convenient apartment with friendly staff.

Positive: Very spacious bedrooms in a quiet setting. Ideal for families looking for a quiet holiday. Large swimming pool and good options for country side walks.

Negative: Water pressure is very low and shower was an unpleasant experience. Bathrooms could do with an electrical heater. They don’t have a gym which is a shame. The room did not have a TV.

Summary: Pleasant stay in the charming, lovely town of Vila Vicosa. One of Portugal’s many hidden of gems!

Positive: everything was nice. The sauna is a bonus! Apartment was big, well equipped and well decorated.

Negative: Walls are a bit thin, I could hear the neighbors pretty late.
