Welcome to the spacious and beautiful Chain O' Lakes Calm Waters Vacation Home! This home has plenty space for your family to enjoy or even can accommodate multiple families! Your ideal vacation starts with ample parking for 6 vehicles right out front of the home! Enter through the sunroom and take a load off while taking in the beautiful views of the lake. Observe the open concept as you enter the home and look out the sliding doors to the lake. Sit on the sofa and take in the natural beauty of the property! Trees on the property keep our home private while still allowing picturesque views of the water! The kitchen is stocked up with pots, pans, plates, silverware and cups. There is a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and coffee maker. The master is on the main floor and has an attached full bathroom. The master has one queen bed and a desk.
The 2nd bedroom is also on the main floor with one queen bed and one full bed. There is also one more full bath on the main level. Upstairs find two additional bedrooms. The 3rd bedroom has one queen bed and a twin bed. There is also space in this room for an air mattress or a pack and play. The 4th bedroom has two queen beds and many windows as well. There is a third full bathroom on the second floor between the two bedrooms. Downstairs on the basement walkout level you will find a bar area with plenty of stools along with a high top table to hang out at. The basement also has a pool table for your enjoyment. There is a half bathroom on this level along with a washing machine, dryer and additional refrigerator. Walk down to the waterfront from the deck or the lower level. The deck offers additional seating along with a charcoal grill. The lower walkout also has a picnic table for even more seating! The shed offers plenty of inflatables to enjoy on the water and additional chairs for lounging. There is a firepit for hanging out in the evening and roasting marshmallows. Enter the lake through the gradual walkout or take a plunge off the end of the dock into 8ft of beautiful spring fed water! Calm Waters is definitely a gem on Limekiln Lake. We are a no wake lake so no worries about jet skis and boats speeding by while the children (or you) are swimming. However, when you want to go to a recreational lake and enjoy water sports we have two recreational lakes just around the corner from the home! We have 4 kayaks, a stand up paddle board and paddle boat for your enjoyment! There is also a pontoon boat available for rent. Please contact us for information if interested.
Calm Waters is a 0.5 mile walk from Indian Crossings Casino, The Wheelhouse Restaurant, Oakwood Park and Scoopers Ice Cream! The smell of waffle cones when you walk into Scoopers is truly mouthwatering! Calm Waters is also a quick 2.5 mile drive or a 10 minute boat ride to Clearwater Harbor Waterfront Restaurant and Bar! Dock your boat and enjoy the bands that play on their pontoon! Downtown Waupaca is about 7 miles away and Stevens Point is 28 miles away. Hartman Creek State Park (2.4 miles away) offers biking, hiking and snowshoeing. Standing Rock Red and Blue Mountain Bike Loop is 5.7 miles away and is accessible all year with biking, hiking and cross country skiing. Nordic Mountain Ski Area is 24 miles away and offers skiing, snowboarding, tubing and free mountain biking. Calm Waters is about 2 hours away from Milwaukee and Madison and about 3.5 hours away from Chicago!

Summary: location was great - walking distance to everything, access to the chain, tucked back in a bay with plenty of floaties, kayaks, paddle boat and a nice pier. great gathering space - plenty of room for a large group. Would have preferred a gash grill but we made do - convenient fire pit for s'mores and a nice sun porch.

Summary: I rented this property for a week on the lake with my kids and grandchildren. It was able to accommodate the 9 of us comfortably. Plenty for the grandkids to do, although the tubing inflatables shown in the listing were not available. We rented the pontoon boat from the owner which was cheaper than renting from across the lake and was great for exploring the Chain O' Lakes. We had a plumbing leak while we were there and the property manager was right on yop of it. He had a plumber there within an hour and it was fixed right away. The owner also called to apologize for the inconvenience. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I would recommend this property!

Summary: We have been going for five years, and this was by far our favorite property! The location is great, and we can walk to several restaurants. The boat rental was also a plus. There is an on-call handyman who is available if you have any problems while you were staying there. It’s a big plus.

Summary: We stayed here last year and returned again this year. It’s an especially good place for families. We had a couple of cold and rainy days and enjoyed all there was to do in the basement.

Summary: Great property and we had a great time! Wish there was a larger area of sand (minus weeds) for our little people to play in. Lake had more weeds than expected.

Summary: We had a great stay with both our kids, their spouses, and 3 grandkids. The kayaks, paddle boat, and SUP were all put to good use despite the cold rainy weather. The cottage was spacious with plenty of room for all.

Summary: This property was amazing! Three levels with enough bedrooms and bathrooms and an entertaining space in the basement was perfect. The fire pit and the lake plus the boat was everything that our group needed. The boat rental was separate and I can’t say that the boat was in the best condition, however, I was glad that it was available for us. Being on the chain O’Lakes was in amazing tour.
