Positive: Camagna Country House is in a fantastic location for exploring the northwest cost of Sicily. We had excellent communication with Roberto before our arrival and during our stay. He gave us very helpful guidance on how to get to the country house, avoiding some treacherous roads enroute. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was very spacious and comfortable with a lovely view of the valley. There was a bottle of wine waiting for us when we arrived and some bottled water which was a very nice touch. The closest little town, Partanna has a few good restaurants and grocery stores. There are some very narrow, windy roads in the area in serious need of repair so we were happy not to venture too far for dinner at night. Our host, Roberto gave us some excellent restaurant recommendations. Ristorante Nerocento was a highlight. Every morning we were served a fantastic, huge breakfast, all home made by Roberto, his wife and family. They are lovely people and really couldn’t have been more kind and helpful.
Negative: Just a couple of small things….. The booking.com description indicated a washing machine and drying rack in the unit, but when we got there we realized it did not include either one. That was an issue for us as we were traveling in Europe for a month. Roberto told us they had removed the washing machine as it had been damaged by previous guests. It all worked out because his wife did a load of laundry for us for a small charge so we were able to get by until our next destination. The room description needs to be updated on the website. Our first night the apartment was full of flying ants and small midge-like bugs. I am talking hundreds of bugs. It turns out they are very common in the area in October. Luckily they didn’t bite and were really only a problem our first night (thank goodness) but it was not a great way to start our stay.

Positive: A great B&B Comfortable and relaxing. A quiet location 10 min out of Partanna. Felt safe and secure in the property a nice stay. Great B&B Breakfast freshly made and served. Catered for Gluten Free Thank you. Would recommend.
Negative: Needs a few touched of paint and generally looking a bit tired. Garden needs a bit more looking after. Otherwise very homely.

Positive: Everything was perfect. The host was super friendly. We had a beautiful view during breakfast. Breakfast was very outstanding with a lot of things to try and taste. The room was spacious and had a nice shower!
Negative: They could learn a little bit english or get a sheet with instructions in English. The lady could only speak italian and we thought we had paid, but apparentely we didnt.. These miscommunication could be easily solved by having some english instructions laying around..!
