Positive: Its a nice cosy place with the most beautiful view. We enjoyed the midnight sun :)
Negative: The family room was around 5-7 kms from the camp location and there is no grocery store nearby so come prepared. It is still worth it, as long as you plan ahead.
Summary: Beautiful clean place, well worth the cost.

Negative: The charge for the linen, bed linen, and towel package came as a bit of a surprise — probably overlooked by me in the very short-notice booking we made.

Positive: Title: Incredible Arctic Experience – Stunning Location & Warm Hospitality Our stay at Camp Caroli in Jukkasjärvi was truly unforgettable! The house is beautifully located at the edge of a lake, offering breathtaking views. Upon arrival, Stefan had already heated the cabin for us, making it warm and cozy. As soon as we looked out the window, we were treated to an incredible northern lights show – an absolutely magical welcome! The next day, Stefan took us on an amazing trip to the mountains, where we saw a herd of moose up close. Later, we explored the frozen lake and surrounding forest on snowmobiles, which was such a thrilling adventure! In the evening, we relaxed in the wood-burning sauna, which was perfect after a day out in the cold. To top it off, we went for another snowmobile ride at night, which created an incredible and almost surreal atmosphere. Stefan is a fantastic host—very welcoming, knowledgeable, and passionate about the area. He made sure we had the best experience possible. If you’re looking for a true Arctic adventure combined with comfort and stunning nature, Camp Caroli is the perfect place. Highly recommended!

Positive: everything was perfect. The house is perfecty located just in front of a big lake (frozen during winter time). The view from the house is wonderful. The house is warm and well equiped. if you are lucky, you can observe northern lights from the house and just in front of it from the lake. Stefan welcomed us warmly. We also enjoyed a lot the activities booked at Camp Caroli (dogsleeding and safari excursion).

Positive: Everything. I can only recommend staying there. The family house is the actual family house of the team behind camp Caroli and it feels right at home. It’s a dreamy cabin at the end of the road with a view directly on the frozen lake. You can’t beat this location. And don’t get me started on the northern lights. It’s the best place to see any. And we saw many! And on New Year’s Eve! Honestly we couldn’t have dreamt of a better way to start 2025. Go at Camp Caroli! The team is super nice, it’s a family run business and you can tell as they make you feel part of the family as well. All the activities are wonderful and well organized. Just pure polar bliss. The house is warm and comfortable. Even by minus 25 which is the temp we got when we were there. The kitchen is big and nice to cook in. And the bathroom has all you need. Just a perfect place really.

Positive: Location. The cabin was overlooking the frozen lake. We were lucky we had two nights of the northern lights for our 2-night stay and considering it was a weekend. From 8 PM to 5:30 AM! Stefan was accommodating. I have already recommended this place to friends and colleagues. We would not mind going back.
Negative: We forgot to ask about hair dryer. Not sure if they have.
